We visited a bunch of historic sites and enjoyed listening to all the guides. The fall colors here were amazing and we really enjoyed the scenery as well.

We brought are own kayaks to travel the Erie Canal and the Seneca River. The house was conveniently located for both. The cabin was very clean, neat and well decorated. Kitchen was well stocked with dishes, pots, pans, utensils, etc. The hot tub was enjoyable in the cold winter nights. We only stayed at the hotel and didn’t do anything else in Palmyra.
Easy to get around
I was expecting a wonderful visit to Palmyra, but this exceeded my expectations. Our visit to the Joseph Smith, Sacred Grove, Hill Cumorah, E.B.Grandin print shop, Palmyra temple, Cemetery in downtown Palmyra, etc. were hi-lights of our stay.
Palmyra is my hometown, and it will always have a special place in my heart.
Our visit to Palmyra focused on historical sites related to The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. The church does a great job of educating visitors to the significance and history. They also offered suggestions on local places to eat.
