We have a yearly get together and have stayed at many properties, this is one of our favorites! The pool was fantastic, plus heated. The outside area was perfect for us to sit around the fire pit every night. Everything was updated inside and was perfect for our size group. It was interesting having two bedrooms connected with only one entrance and the main patio door being connected to a bedroom, but we made it work.

Hershey Park Fun

This was the perfect place to stay for our Hershey Park adventure. The location couldn’t have been more convenient, the pool was clean and fun, the house was also clean and comfortable. I’d absolutely recommend!

This listing is misleading, rent with caution. Although the house is listed as having 5 bedrooms and sleeping 12, it only has four bedrooms, and it also fails to mention that one of those four bedrooms can only be accessed by walking through another one of the bedrooms. This might work for parents/kids, but for adult couples staying together it can make things a bit weird if people go to bed or wake up at different times. There are only enough beds to sleep 10 people, the other 2 would have to be on a "pull out couch" which is in the living room and (surprise!) doesn't actually pull out or work in any way. That made it pretty inconvenient for our group of 11. The listing photos show five bedrooms, but one of the bedrooms is actually shown twice (before and after a remodel) to give the appearance of five different rooms. Trust me, there only four. House is very strangely set up due to being a older house that was remodeled (if you walk out of the bathroom you slam your shin on the side of concrete stairs that used to lead outside from the kitchen, but are now inside). On our last day we discovered a mouse had been helping itself to several of the snacks that were in a grocery bag on a chair in the bedroom (see our photos below). Despite these serious issues, the owner would not provide the partial refund we requested. Very poor form. It is also on a busy street with a short driveway.Things we liked: Pool and pool area, game room in basement.

Family Funeral

I reserved this property for my family. My aunt had recently passed away and we were traveling from Georgia to attend her services. My Dad is 80 years old and having bedrooms on the main floor was a necessity for him. The house was spacious and accommodated 6 adults with ease. The home is conveniently located near grocery stores, gas stations and is an easy drive to the Harrisburg airport.

Game Room Was A Hit

The whole process and communication was smooth. The house was as expected, plenty of room for our group. The kids enjoyed having a separate room of games downstairs. On a somewhat busy street (some traffic and noise) but not a big deal. Great location for Hersheypark.

Great space for groups

We had a great girls trip! The house was spacious and well-appointed. We were able to cook and had all the dishes and utensils that we needed. We enjoyed our time gathered in the living room. (The remote control for the TV was not the easiest to use, but with a little patience and fine motor practice, we got where we needed to go.) The pool was a lovely addition to the home and the reason that we chose it. We spent a good bit of our weekend floating in the pool and relaxing around it. (We would have loved to enjoy the fire pit, but were deterred at needing to purchase our own propane. As someone who uses this type of propane for all my cooking and hot water needs, I know that it costs approximately $22 to trade in a tank...which lasts me about 3 weeks. While $22 is not a lot, it is more than we wanted to spend to enjoy an hour or two around the fire. The grill was the same.) We did not end up taking advantage of the patio or basement...but both spaces had lots of potential. The lights on the patio created a cozy space. The basement had several games and things from which to choose. The space was clean and the check in and out process was quick and easy. We would definitely consider this home again if we were to visit this area in the future.
