Stylish Mid-Century Home w/Stunning Outdoor Space

Designed with comfort and longer stays in mind, this 1951 mid-century modern home is a stylish and restful retreat. Located in the trendy Tahquitz River Estates neighborhood, the best of Palm Springs’ shopping, art scene, and bustling nightlife are just over a mile away. Conveniently located close to several grocery stores and local eateries, and just five minutes drive from Palm Springs International Airport.

The home is situated on a quiet street with a large, private, and beautifully landscaped property front and back – offering STUNNING VIEWS of the San Jacinto mountain range. Begin your day with coffee and the sunrise on the patio, or an outdoor shower. Spend the afternoon taking in some rays by the pool or immerse yourself in a great read or podcast under the shade of an umbrella. Unwind in the evening in the heated spa or next to the fire pit. Enjoy the conveniences of a well-equipped kitchen and Keurig coffee maker, natural gas BBQ grill, gas fireplace, automated gate entry, covered parking for one vehicle, and Level 2 EV charging. Fast wi-fi connects you to the real world as needed.

This is a cherished family vacation home offered for rent to discerning guests. Parties and events are not allowed. A maximum of six (6) persons and three (3) vehicles may be at the property at any one time. The City of Palm Springs requires that the primary renter be at least 25 years of age (ID required). You will be hosted by Walt, an experienced local property manager.

This home has 3 bedrooms and comfortably sleeps 4 adults (or up to 6 people when using the sofa bed):

Bedroom #1 is the Primary Bedroom and has a king size bed, darkening shades, 55” smart TV, dresser, closet, and dressing area, and en-suite bathroom with walk-in shower with rain and wall shower heads. Also in this space is a kitchenette with Keurig coffee maker, wine cooler, microwave, and sink. Just outside the dressing area is an outdoor shower.

Bedroom #2 is the Guest Room and has a queen size bed with adjustable base, darkening shades, 43” smart TV, and closet.

Bedroom #3 is used as a TV Room and has a pull-out sofa with premium mattress, closet, and 55" smart TV. Please note the TV Room is also a pass-through to the Primary Bedroom featuring lockable “hotel doors” for privacy.

The guest bath is located in the hallway opposite Bedroom #2 and the TV Room. This bathroom has a bathtub with both fixed and hand-held shower heads.

All bedrooms have smart TVs. You will be able to cast or airdrop content from your own devices, or sign-in directly to any streaming services. We have cable TV service in the TV Room.

**By City of Palm Springs Ordinance, the following are required to rent a short term rental in the City:

1. Primary renter must be at least 25 years of age and provide a copy of their government issued I.D. prior to check-in. A copy of I.D. is kept on file while guests are at property and will be shared with Vacation Rental Compliance Officials on demand as required by law.

2. Primary renter is required to sign a short term rental agreement (contract) and ALL guests are required to sign The City of Palm Springs Rules and Regulations form. We will request emails for all adults staying in the home and send everyone an e-signature document to sign prior to check-in.

3. No more than 2 adults per bedroom (6 max) are allowed to occupy the home overnight.

4. No more than 1 vehicle per bedroom (3 max) are allowed to be parked at the house.

5. Trash must be kept in the provided receptacle out of public view.

6. NO music is permitted outside at any short term rental in the City of Palm Springs. It is further expected that noise created at the home will not be audible beyond the property line. Quiet time is between 10pm and 10am.

**These rules are set forth by City Ordinance and apply to ALL rentals in the City of Palm Springs. They are intended to help create peaceful neighborhoods in which rentals exist.

Pets - We welcome two (2) well trained dogs and registered service animals, with a few requests: We ask that you not allow dogs on the furniture. Dogs may use the pool but please take care to dry them off before coming inside. If you need to wash or rinse off your dog, we recommend using the outdoor shower. Kindly direct your furry friend to relieve themselves outside on the gravel. If they have an accident on the grass, we ask that you hose the area down right away to prevent burning. Please bring your dogs indoors during visits from the house crew. Guests with dogs should note - like many gardens, not all of the plants in the backyard are safe to nibble on. A Pet Fee will apply to each booking (see description for the fee amount).

Pool heating is $75 per night (3 night minimum), but completely optional. Highly recommended October-May. When requested, the pool will be set at 86 degrees for at least 12 hours per day. Spa heating is included in the nightly rate as long as the spa is turned off after each use.

NO glass is allowed in the pool area. Plastic glassware is provided.

NO SMOKING is permitted inside the house.

Be kind to our mid-century plumbing. Only flush toilet paper. Place wipes (including ‘flushable wipes’) in the trash bins provided. Put food scraps in the green organics bin rather than down the garbage disposal.
