My sister and I stayed at Hotel Balneario Río Pambre on our second day of the Camino de Santiago, and it was absolutely perfect. Malva was wonderful — so kind and welcoming from the moment we arrived. We enjoyed an amazing massage, cold plunge, and sauna — exactly what our bodies needed after a long walk. Dinner was spectacular, and the next morning they even prepared breakfast for us to take on the Camino. Everything was beyond expectations — peaceful, beautiful, and full of care. I’ll definitely come back. Truly the best hotel.

He ido en varias ocasiones y tanto la desconexión como el relax,son totales. Enclave perfecto para ello. Por ponerle un pero:el desayuno es escaso en cuanto a variedad Por el resto es totalmente recomendable

Great option for those walking the Camino — it’s a little out of the way, but a taxi can easily get you there. The hotel sits in a peaceful location surrounded by nature, making it a relaxing getaway. Unfortunately, the overall experience was disappointing. The spa receptionist couldn’t have been more rude, making us feel unwelcome from the start. Breakfast was also poor, with a very limited selection and low quality. The setting is lovely, but both the service and food need serious improvement.

the dining room is the only eating option without a car. The main waitress is excellent and efficient. Her helper was terrible - passive-aggressive, openly refusing requests for a menu. We were about to leave after 20 minutes, when the experienced waitress took over - but it left a bad taste. some people are better suited to not work with the public :)

El lugar y la zona donde se ubica es precioso, el Balneario descuidado, las habitaciones mediocres, hasta ahí normal para un Hotel de 3 estrellas pero el precio es elevado y eso que yo fui en temporada bajisima. Una pena, con poco más de cariño seria un lugar agradable. IMPORTANTE el Spa no está incluido en el precio.

Necesita mantenimiento.

La habitación lo peor con diferencia, muy deficiente. Me parece un hotel extremadamente caro para la habitación que te ofrece. El balneario bastante básico, y en nuestra opinión el agua bastante fría. Lo mejor la atención de los empleados, especialmente el restaurante.

Beautiful property and location. Off the beaten path while on Camino. It was an additional 4 mile walk from center of Palas de Rei. We did have easy access to rejoin the Camino from the hotel-directions from front staff. The air conditioner didn’t work-main negative. Otherwise we were very pleased with our overnight stay.

Afslappende familieferie

Vi var en familie med to teenagere i et familieværelse med stor dobbeltseng og to enkelte gæstesenge med udmærkede madrasser. Der var fin plads til os alle fire og baggage. Morgenmad var god med flere ting at vælge imellem og variation fra dag til dag. Pga. corona var der ingen selvservering. Rengøring var helt i top. Indendørs pool og sauna var gode - der er håndklæder ved fitnessredskaberne til fri afbenyttelse. Der er også to tagterrasser med liggestole - og fantastisk udsigt. Aqualuna på den anden side af vejen var rigtig godt. Du får udleveret gratis billetter i receptionen og håndklæde ved indgangen, og så er der liggestole, pool og mulighed for at købe god mad og drikke. Det er bedst at brusebade på hotellet både før og efter. Der er mange restauranter i området og ellers er der flere buslinjer til Valetta lige i nærheden.

We had an enjoyable stay, staff were very friendly, and food was very good, but the hotel’s location was very remote, and the taxi driver got lost twice en route.
