Why doesnt anyone say its a youth camp?

When you $18.000 for a week in 3 Glamping homes (which were fine) someone should mention to you at some stage that there are hundreds, if not a thousand kids and teenagers on summer camps in the same place. Its nice, pretty clean, veiws and ocean is pretty. But trying to have a relaxing family holiday in the middle of a youth camp? I would not recommend it at all.

The rooms were very comfortable and well equipped- v effective AC. Food was good with plenty of options ( similar each day) Good activities for adults and children, it was very busy but we really enjoyed our stay. We were worried after reading negative reviews but we were pleasantly surprised! Thank you

Avoid at All Costs – A Complete Disappointment Except for the Animation Team We stayed four nights at Pine Beach Pakoštane and were deeply disappointed. Outdated photos and fake reviews don’t reflect the current reality. Food was terrible—repetitive, greasy, and low quality. Cold fries, soggy hot dogs, and dry fish every day. When we asked for fresh fries, a staff member snapped, “What do you want? Should I make new ones or what?” Coffee was watery, drinks too sugary, and utensils were often missing. Long buffet lines only added to the frustration. The beach was dirty, littered with food scraps, paper, and cigarette butts. Shared areas were overcrowded and chaotic. Facilities were neglected—broken tennis rackets, unusable balls, and loungers reserved against posted rules. Our mobile home was sandy and unclean at check-in—totally unacceptable at this price point. We reported all this at checkout. Staff agreed with every complaint and told us we weren’t the only ones unhappy. We contacted management—no reply. We also contacted Expedia for a refund, which Pine Beach flatly refused. The only positive was Hugo and the animation team—they were fantastic and deserve 5 stars. Rebuild the resort around them. Final verdict: Do not book here. Until major improvements are made, stay far away.
