Perfect place for our Lake Powell trip!

This house was absolutely perfect for our family trip to Lake Powell. They seriously had everything we needed for our trip. My kids loved the games and the large family room make it easy to sit around and visit after a day on the lake. We loved the location and the home and we would love to come back again!

This home is by far the best one yet and will be hard to beat. Every aspect of the home was top notch and exceeded expectations. Every aspect of the home was well curated yet very comfortable. The views were incredible and were a great way to start the day while sipping a cup of coffee. We even opted to extend our stay an extra night instead of changing destinations.

Jewell in the desert

This beautiful home saved our vacation. We have vacationed on our houseboat in Lake Powell for the past 28 years but with the low water levels, our boat could not be launched. We did not want to stay in a hotel so finding this beautiful home was a blessing. This house is decorated beautifully and is fully stocked with everything you need including fun yard games, ping pong table, beach chairs, etc. The beds are very comfortable and the kitchen was not lacking anything. Can't say enough about the beautiful view. Wow!!! We were able to launch our watercraft at Wahweap and rented a slip during our stay. The marina is only a 3 mile drive and Page is just a few miles more if you need to shop for groceries. I would recommend staying here instead of a hotel in Page. Great for families or just a few couples! Owners are so sweet and surprised us with perfect gifts for our stay. Loved it!

some nice things, and some not as much

This place was a bit of a mixed bag. It is located in a really lovely spot and the that huge window is amazing. There was also a really nice large kitchen, a super fun ping pong table, comfy beds with nice linens, and we were grateful for the grill and enjoyed the hot tub. There was a welcome note and gift, but all the online communication felt very short and like we were an inconvenience. I messaged to ask for the code to get in just before we arrived, and the response was "code is xxxx"—no greeting, no thank you for booking, no sorry for the delay on that. They did respond to the couple of questions we had relatively quickly, but it was very perfunctory. Honestly, it all just made us feel unwelcome. A few other things disappointed us: the lack of any kind of nice cocktail glasses or plates; the canned lights have no dimmers so the main space is only super bright (there were only two lamps and one was broken); there was no covering on the front door (which is mostly glass) so we felt very exposed as the main hallway from the front door opens to the large living space; and when there is such a large cleaning fee, it doesn't really feel right to have to strip beds and take out the trash. One last note: this house supposedly sleeps a lot of people, but based on the space and the amount of dishes, I wouldn't have more than 6 adults and a few kids.

THE BEST VACATION RENTAL THERE IS

This is my favorite property we have ever stayed at, and between all the vacation rental sites we have stayed at over 20 homes. Darin and his wife have put together the most beautiful home, in a perfect location with every personal touch that could be asked for in a Vacation Rental. The home itself is beautiful, with comfortable and cute decor, linens, and furniture, and the views are to DIE FOR. The backyard is meticulously landscaped with comfortable turf and beautiful gravel, comfortable outdoor furniture etc... The kitchen is very well stocked with everything from normal dishes and utensils to food prep items such as a crock pot and coffeemaker. The garage is welcoming, and a very nice extra space to use to hang out in, and the extra fridge and deep freezer were so convenient to store food and ice for our adventures. Literally, anything I could think of anyone needing was provided by the hosts, from an umbrella to beach chairs, to extra rollaway beds and extra linens, a thoughtful and useful welcome gift, a small selection of toiletries ( shampoo, deodorant, an extra toothbrush etc... ) Halfway through our stay we had inclement weather that changed our plans and Darin, his wife and their local agent (Misti I believe was her name?) were quick to answer and help us accommodate the needed change in our plans. We had other backup options if needed but were able to go with our first choice which was at the property and we couldn't have been happier. They were extremely gracious hosts and we got to meet all of them at different points and they could not have been more kind. I could write another 3 page essay full of superlatives, but this is by far the most beautiful and well-thought-out Vacation Rental in the area and we're so glad we were able to visit. Hopefully we will be able to visit again soon!

We had a fantastic stay at the Surf Inn. Beds were comfortable, kitchen was well stocked. Lots of room for the 9 of us. The bunk room worked great for the 5 kids. Outside was very nice. Room for the kids to play and a nice seating area. Close to the lake. Gorgeous views. I definitely recommend the property.
