Lake It Easy at this unique and tranquil lakefront getaway! This spacious cottage overlooking Elmer Davis Lake provides quiet seclusion. Situated on a private drive but next to the boat ramp. Plenty of space for the whole family, enjoy canoeing, kayaking, and pedal boating on this tranquil no wake lake. Enjoy the scenery from the screened in porch or relax by the fire pit. Come unwind after a long day at the nearby Ark Encounter or visiting the quaint local shops and cafes in Owenton. Connect with your friends and family in this fun, cozy cottage where you can unplug from your worries. Please note there is no wifi or cable as our guests prefer the simple life at the lake cottage. There is a cell booster for cell phones, though you may not have enough bars to stream video, etc.

A Bit Disappointed
Location was quiet and peaceful. Floors very uneven in house throughout. Shower small and tight. Light switches were difficult to figure out what worked what and where! Light switch in one bedroom worked lights in one other bedroom. Kitchen ceiling light switch was not found at all. Gas grill had not been cleaned so we did not use it. Steep bank down to dock, difficult to navigate even with rocks they had placed as walk way. Just disappointed as the location was so serene.

Secluded and peaceful from communication.
The property for the six of us was as described and enjoyed by all of us. Except my wife and I had no cell phone service through T-Mobile to even text or call The Host that we were leaving but the whole town seemed that way as well. The other two couples had cell phone service.

Cabin on the lake
Cute cabin on Elmer Davis Lake. Suited our needs just fine. We are two fisherman who wanted to fish and stay on the lake so we wouldn’t have to take the boat out each evening. Has a nice flat yard long enough to set up our boards and play some cornhole. Met Donald, a very kind and helpful neighbor. We enjoyed our stay

What a gem
If you are looking for a quiet relaxing stay with no outside noise from the world....This is it!. Turn those phones off as well as the nasty news and just enjoy life. This property felt like home, like my childhood. So very cozy and beautiful. Getting out on the lake and just enjoying the beautiful scenery was so nice. Thank you for sharing this home. We had an absolutely wonder vacation. Side note: the Ark encounter was fabulous also the crystal clear kayaking the gorge was an oustanding experience as well. If i could give a higher rating i would. :)

Quaint lakeside cottage
This was a very cute lakeside cottage. It was clean, very roomy and comfortable. It was a ways to drive to places but we managed.
