After adjusting to the place without easy ocean access and an ocean view, we enjoyed the proximity to the beach and ocean front restaurants. We did enter a street to go grocery shopping that had some “shady” men hanging around but otherwise we felt safe."

"We were three senior aged couples travelling to Portugal for the first time. We wanted to spend three days near Porto so selected Valter’s accommodation. The home has 5 bedrooms so can handle ten people. The living area and kitchen are located in the lower level of the home with a beautiful wooden staircase that leads down. There is no banister on the stairs so would not be great for toddlers or anyone with mobility issues. The main floor has three bedrooms plus a bathroom and a half. ...
