We rent in Otranto, Salento, in the Center area, a recently renovated two-room apartment with 4 beds, "casa Vanessa", a few meters from the beaches and the promenade of the city.
Casa Vanessa is located on the first floor of a new complex and consists of a kitchenette, open space with living room and double sofa bed, double bedroom, bathroom with shower and balcony overlooking the sea from where you can admire the beautiful city of Otranto.
The house has been furnished in a pleasant and functional way with well-made furniture. In the living room there is a comfortable double sofa bed and flat screen Tv.
The whole environment is served by air conditioning. The kitchen is equipped with all the dishes necessary for the preparation of the main meals as well as an oven, fridge and freezer.
Bathroom with shower and washing machine. Other facilities in the house are the hairdryer and the iron.

Otranto, between sea and history
Otranto was born as a Messapian center, then Roman and Byzantine then to undergo the Aragonese domination, of which evident traces remain with the presence of the great castle, around which the entire city has developed over time.
The historic center of Otranto is among the most beautiful villages in Italy, and among its streets and alleys you can breathe the scent of the history that characterized it.
In 1400 Otranto suffered the assault of the Turkish fleet, which found the resistance of the Otranto people, willing not to give in to the request for abjuration made by the Muslims, who for any response killed 800 citizens on the Colle della Minerva, those who today represent the Holy Martyrs of Otranto, whose remains are kept in the marvelous Cathedral of Otranto, of Norman origin.
In the same Cathedral, of Santa Maria Annunziata, it is possible to observe the largest mosaic in Italy, the Tree of Life, which extends along the aisles, made by the monk Pantaleone.
Otranto is also characterized by other churches that tell of it: Church of San Pietro, Church of the Madonna dell'Alto Mare, which dominates the seafront from above, Church of Santa Maria dei Martiri, Church of Santa Maria del Passo.
