"Staff were super kind and helpful - I was travelling with a small child and they really went out of their way to help, even cooking him a separate breakfast (unasked) when they saw he was struggling with Japanese food!"
"The location of the hotel is perfect as its just next to the exit of IC "highway"
and Yaizu fish market.
Room is good but there were 5 to 6 buds in our room and when we arrive hotel, we were told there is more then enough parking space but we were asked to park the car at another parking that we need to cross around the area. "I cannot say enough good things about this inn. It was everything we imagined. There was a person waiting to greet us when we got there (which, honestly, we had never imagined). The meals -- we had a dinner and a breakfast -- were the best and also the fanciest we had while in Japan, full stop. We were completely floored at the care taken for every little detail during our stay. It feels nicely out-of-the-way once you get there, but it is not hard to get to at all. The staff offered to pick us up from the local train station on our way in, but we decided to walk. The walk is totally fine if you are used to walking and aren't hauling a 70-pound bag, which we were. We gratefully accepted the inn-keeper's offer of a ride back to the train station when we left. Seriously: the seventh-generation inn-keeper who owns the place drove us to the train station on the way out. "
"This is an absolute gem! Gorgeous rooms with top notch amenities. We used there complimentary bikes and bikes all around the small town. There are many restaurants and shops within walking distance. The onsen is complimentary with your stay. Great service, such a treat! "
