The house was very clean, comfortable, attractively decorated, cheerful and spacious - and extremely well equipped. We especially appreciated how well-supplied the kitchen was, as we were making a Thanksgiving dinner! It was also so nice to have basic supplies (like paper towels, napkins, olive oil, some spices, aluminum foil, etc.) there as well. Lots of games, lots of comfortable seating arrangements, ample places to be together, or find a solitary space to read or relax. The street is quiet and peaceful and the views of the woods are lovely.
Our only caveats: the thermostats were very hard to adjust! (Perhaps not so much of an issue in warmer weather?) And we hadn't realized there was only one full bath for the three bedrooms on the second floor (the one on the lower level was really too cold to use, and the shower door there doesn't shut completely). We also wished there had been heat on the sun porch as it was such a lovely spot, but not warm enough to spend time or eat in early or late in the day.
Overall, though, we had a very positive experience; the house was a comfortable and lovely place to spend a late fall holiday. We are grateful!
