Check-in is done by machine, but I was worried because I completed the check-in without knowing the room number. There were several customers who had the same problem, so we all checked with the staff. (The staff told me to check my reservation email, but there was no room number anywhere.) When I used the automatic check-in at other hotels, the room number was written on the receipt, so I felt relieved. I hope they improve this. Also, during my stay, a fire alarm sounded and we evacuated. A person who looked like a firefighter came in and nothing happened, but there was no explanation from the hotel, so I was worried and checked out early. It's a dormitory-like hotel where you basically do everything yourself, so if you like that kind of thing, it might be a good choice, but it's not a dormitory price, so I'll choose a different hotel next time.

とにかく綺麗。ベッド・布団もコンディション良し。冷蔵庫・テレビは無い。浴槽もなく立ちシャワー。チェックインは、備え付け端末によるセルフ式で、午前中にもかかわらずチェックインできた。

Sehr zentral gelegen. Fußläufige Parkflächen. Schöne Lobby mit vielen Möglichkeiten, sich zu treffen, was kleines zu Essen/Trinken. Leider alles aus dem Automaten. Wer keinen Wert auf Personal/Rezeption legt, ist hier sehr gut aufgehoben. Würde wiederkommen - wenn ich nur eine Nacht bleibe.

Check in was a disaster. Our reference # did not work at the kiosk and had to get staff 3 times for help. The one window did not open and the window that did open -it was right over the bed, so you couldn’t sleep with window open. It happened to be very warm during our stay and our was extremely hot , since we couldn’t open a window! And the noise from surrounding area was loud till 3:30 am!

My wife, two young kids, and I stayed at CityBox Oslo for a night during a 24-hour layover. I would return to this one or other cities in the future,. Pros - The location is 2 blocks away from Central Station which is perfect for Since the rooms are small, the combined 3 buildings have a comfortable and welcoming shared space to work, have dinner, watch television and lounge after a day of touring the city. The efficient self check-in and checkout. Cons. The rooms are the bare minimum but efficient.

This was a great spot for a short stay in Oslo! Conveniently located close to Oslo Central Station, with access to two cafes from inside the hotel. Amenities, including laundry, were such a plus for someone on a long journey. Would definitely recommend this place and stay here again.

The building is nice and in a great location in Oslo, but the actual room I stayed in had a ton of crumbs from the last guest and holes in the ceiling, which, not ideal!

Stylish decor and clean. Limited staff and no tea or coffee in the room. There is a kettle in the communal area but no free coffee or tea bags or milk etc. There is a coffee machine in the communal area but you have to pay for the coffee. There is a luggage store but I was warned it is not secure - you can enter with your key as it is not manned by staff so other customers could take your luggage if they wanted to. I cant compare to other hotels in Norway but I would so its okay but bring tea/coffee/milk (although not sure if there's a fridge..) and better to store luggage in one of the lockers at the train station if staying here. It ends up being more expensive then face value this way though so a slightly more expensive hitel with better facilities may not actually cost you any more in the long run.
