About this property

Come to Oroville and stay at the Robbins Nest, your home away from home.

  • Beautiful three bedroom , two bath home on the river. There is also an extra twin bed in the loft plus a futon. Fishing poles and 4 kayaks are available for your use. We also have space for an RV with full rv hookup & dump. You will be able to launch your boat at the state park and our home is right around the corner. The dock is 16' 2" long and we have bumpers on the dock for boats. PLEASE READ!!! Apparently VRBO likes to add comments and change my pricing without my permission. When I try to take it off they say that can't see it. Please note that I do not have an arcade room and I am not a hotel. My price is $300 a night plus $100 cleaning fee, NOTHING ELSE. If they try to tell you anything differnt on my fee's please contact me. Thank you.

This was the perfect place! Clean, comfortable, and the best equipped place we have ever rented. It had everything you would need. Becky had special treats waiting for us including things from the local businesses. Checking I. And our was super easy. If I could rate it higher than 5 stars, I would.

The house was great, right on the water and had a cute little dock attached making it easy for us to launch our paddle boards into the water. The house was homey, clean and our host went above and beyond to ensure us and our two dogs had everything we needed. She even set up treats from local businesses for us at check in! There was a full kitchen, separate indoor grill and the outdoor deck patio area had multiple seating areas, a cooler, propane grill, hammock, kayaks, and multiple games! Also had a large fenced yard for our dogs, very pet friendly property. Parking was easy and there were two spaces for the property under a large carport that protected our car and kept it cool. We look forward to visiting again in the future.

Relaxing

Wonderful to relax and have family stay! If you’re looking for a place to get away that’s roomy, comfortable, and have family or friends stay this is the place! Becky has it well stocked for anything you might need. Definitely will come back!

There were 9 of us and we were comfortable with plenty of space. The house is well stocked and clean. The owners are super flexible and communicative. We had a wonderful stay and plan on returning. The view and location can not be beat!

Great property for our family reunion! Loved the beautiful setting on the river with so many activities for all the family! The house was set up so well for cooking meals and eating in several areas both inside and out! Loved the deck overlooking the river!! A favorite spot for all!Nice location to walk into town or paddle to the park & beach!Truly appreciated the host having space for RV to park and a few tents for the children.We’re already talking about the next time we come back! Best home away from home on the water!

This home has all you need. It is equipped for all ages and 4 leggers. Our dogs had a blast and wished they could stay forever. The host, Becky, left goodies for both dogs and humans to feel at home. This home feels as if you are in your own little world yet right close to town accommodations. Good family times and fishing right off private dock. We will be back, Thank you Becky!

Perfect

Becky is a wonderful host! Everything from the location, the size, access to the water, and the little touches from the host, this stay was perfect. Our three boys (14, 11, 7) loved the loft, yard games, and fishing off the dock. We launched our paddle boards and kayaks right off the dock. The kitchen was well stocked. We loved being able to grill on the back deck and enjoy the view. We will rent with VRBO again.

Perfect Place for Oroville/BC Experience

Robbins Nest was the perfect place for an Oroville/BC Okanagan experience. Located on the river on the edge of town, we were able to get everywhere we wanted to go quickly and easily - whether it was the store, the home of our son, or the wineries of BC just across the border. The outdoor deck overlooking the river just couldn't have been more perfect anytime of the day from mornings with our coffee watching the wildlife on the water or evenings watching the light fade - it was the ideal setting for relaxing.The house is completely as advertised and well equipped with everything you could possibly need. Becky makes you feel welcome from the first email, to the welcoming note to the last "Thank You for staying". The internet was strong and supported four, "over-connected" adults with multiple devices. With multiple sitting and eating places, Robbins Nest can accommodate a much larger group than ours and has games and puzzles galore to keep all ages occupied. We are glad we chose this house for our visit and are already planning our return. You won't go wrong by making Robbins Nest your choice for an Oroville/BC Okanagan experience.

A Bit of Heaven

This is a gorgeous property. Out of a magazine of greatest places to visit. Absolutely everything was stunning and perfect. Down to the smallest detail this host has you covered. Will not give details as I want you to be as delighted and surprised as my adopted family and I were! Best money I’ve spent! That dogs were welcome was obvious in and outside. We’re so fortunate to have an animal lover as a VBRO host. Everywhere you look, NO PETS. That makes planning a vacay incredibly difficult since we wanted all of our family together. Pancho, a chihuahua, and Rex, a shepherd, loved it there as much as we did. Usually they want to be in our arms. At Robbin’s Nest they entertained themselves, loved their beds provided, the treats, their own dishes. They loved up on the air conditioning off and on. Every thing you need is at Robbins Nest, and things you thought you didn’t were provided. Treat yourself. So happy we did.

Excellent property and fantastic host. The home and property were picture perfect. We and our dogs really loved the home, beautiful view, spacious yard, and direct access to the river. The home had all the amenities you could want and lots of entertainment options for both outdoor and indoor. Bed was comfy and AC worked great! The host left some wonderful welcome gifts and info on some local events that we would not have known about but turned out to be really great! Super easy check in and checkout. I can’t wait to return. This home is a gem!

We had stayed at the Robbins Nest on previous occasions and knew that it would be the very best rental in the area. This time we were in town for a memorial service for my sister-in-law. This facility on the Okanogan River has a large beautiful deck for entertaining family and visitors. It was an ideal location for our many family members to meet with us. Our hosts, Becky and John, always go out of their way to make our stays with them so comfortable. We have already reserved our next stay.

Absolutely love this place

The Robbins Nest was hands down, the best experience. From working with the host, to having a home away from home that had everything that you could want in recharged spirits. I would recommend this place and stay again and again for years to come.

This was our second stay this summer. Our hosts Becky and John are just the best, and left us some goodies at check-in. We enjoyed the whole area and loved watching the fishermen on the river. The furnished kayaks were a neat way to go to the mouth of the river at Lake Osoyoos. We will be back again and have recommended this home to all of our extended family.
