7-bedroom pool home with spa, game room, and loft, Emerald Island, sleeps 18

Seven bedrooms and six bathrooms sleep 18, with two bedrooms on the ground floor and two bunk rooms upstairs for the children. Your private screened pool has a raised spa, and the covered lanai has a table for meals outside. The garage is now an air-conditioned game room with a pool table and foosball, and upstairs there is a loft with a sofa and a TV. The home is in gated Emerald Island in Kissimmee, about 5 miles from Disney’s Animal Kingdom.

THE POOL
Your own screened pool has a raised spa that spills into it, with loungers on the sundeck. The covered lanai has a table and chairs for meals outside, and there is a pool safety fence for small children.

GAME ROOM AND LOFT
The garage has been turned into an air-conditioned game room with a pool table and foosball. Upstairs, the loft has a sectional sofa and a TV, a second living room for the children or for anyone who wants a quieter evening.

BEDROOMS
Two bedrooms are on the ground floor and five are upstairs. Every bedroom has a TV.
Bedroom 1 (ground floor): queen bed
Bedroom 2 (ground floor): king bed, its own private bathroom
Bedroom 3 (upstairs): two twin bunk beds, Mickey theme, sleeps four
Bedroom 4 (upstairs): two twin bunk beds, pink walls, sleeps four
Bedroom 5 (upstairs): king four-poster bed, its own private bathroom with a corner tub
Bedroom 6 (upstairs): king sleigh bed, its own private bathroom with a corner tub
Bedroom 7 (upstairs): queen bed, its own private bathroom
Bedrooms 3 and 4 share a Jack and Jill bathroom. There is also a bathroom with a tub and shower on the ground floor.

KITCHEN AND LIVING
The kitchen has granite counters, a breakfast bar, and a breakfast nook, and there is a separate dining room with a large table. The family room has leather sofas and a large TV and looks out to the pool. There is a washer and dryer, and Wi-Fi.

EMERALD ISLAND CLUBHOUSE
The resort clubhouse is a 12-minute walk from the door. It has a pool and hot tub with a tiki bar, a second pool, a fitness center, a games room with arcade machines, a shop, and a business center. Outside there are tennis and shuffleboard courts, a basketball court, mini golf, playgrounds, and a nature walk around the lake. The resort runs the clubhouse, and its hours can change.

GETTING IN
Emerald Island is gated. Your names are entered at the gate, and the resort emails you a link to register your vehicles; the resort charges $20 plus tax per vehicle. You let yourselves into the home with a private door code, which we send you before you arrive.

GOOD TO KNOW
Pool and spa heating is optional: $35 a night, with a 4-night minimum. The spa is a raised part of the pool, not a separate hot tub. The home does not come with a grill, but you can rent a gas grill for your stay. You arrive to a starter supply of coffee, soap, shampoo and conditioner, dishwasher tabs, laundry pods, trash bags, and bathroom tissue. Smoking is allowed outside only.
