We arrived with our family of 5 to this cottage with the expectation of having a relaxing family vacation by the pools at Margaritaville Resort. Upon arrival there was 1 roll of toilet paper for the entire cottage that has 3 bathrooms. No other paper products, garbage bags, hand soap or dish soap available. Also there were no dish cloths or tea towels. Upon arriving at the pool we were turned away and told that because we have a Code Access rather than a card to our cottage that means NO POOL USE. Manager was NO help, our children were devastated. We even offered to pay a day access fee and were turned down. The owner replied with “can you screenshot where it says pool access”. You would think all people staying at this resort could use the pool. Paper products were delivered on the third day after we had already had to go buy paper items and garbage bags as we couldn’t go days without. The back patio only had two small chairs and a side table unlike the pictures showing a full dining area. In my opinion there is some misleading advertising here. Although the cottage was clean and spacious, we feel disappointed and were forced to go spend more money that we had not planned on due to not having a pool. We will not be staying at Margaritaville Resort again in the future.

This villa is adorable. It was beautifully decorated and clean! We had an easy time finding the property as well as everything is well marked. We did have to request toilet paper and more garbage bags since it wasn’t well stocked. My biggest issue is that the owners are falsely advertising. We were rejected from the pool at the beach club because the owners didn’t renew the annual passes. The whole point of my vacation with my children was to hang by a pool for a few days (we stayed 6 nights). The owner took hours to get back to me, and basically said sorry, you’re out of luck. I reached out to the other contact and they never even responded. (2 contacts listed if you need anything during stay) I was embarrassed and angry since we had nowhere to go and for my kids to swim. The people in the lobby couldn’t help since the owners rent direct on Expedia. Be aware, there is nobody onsite to help. I paid a significant amount of money the following day to use another resort pool. The owners have yet to respond to me about a refund for at least the money I spent on another pool. Also there is 1 king bed and 1 queen, and a twin with a bedroom with no door upstairs. The photos are not clear. I will not be renting directly from owners on this property again, Vstays and Rentyl have kiosks located in the lobby…go there instead. It is a beautiful resort and great area to stay.
