The hilly Björsåkra-Bölinge nature reserve is nestled in the wooded landscape on Hallandsåsen. There are no marked hiking trails, but there are many small paths that lead you through the unique landscape. A visit to Vallåsen Bike Park is a real hit, where you can try out downhill cycling on your mountain bike. If you are looking for some speed in the winter months, the Vallåsen Ski Center will satisfy your desires. Other experiences include the Rya church ruins, the town of Örkeljunga, the river Rönneå, the elk safari in Markaryd and the Kungsbygget adventure park with a summer toboggan run, ziplining and a 15-metre high climbing tower.
