"The place was very clean and quiet for the most part. There's a small man-made lake which holds a couple of alligators and a small fleet of turtles which kept me entertained. Great for short term stay. Would recommend and revisit "

"This is a cute and clean house with ample space. The surrounding neighborhood is nice with many historic homes as well as plenty of conveniences very nearby (grocery, pharmacies, cafes, etc). The stairway to the upper floor is quite narrow, and it is a converted attic upstairs so it is probably best for kids because of the low ceiling in some parts. We had everything we needed and enjoyed the fire pit for making s’mores and hot dogs. "

"Overall, we had a pleasant stay at this Vrbo. The property was clean and generally well-maintained, which made for a comfortable visit.That said, there are a few areas that could use improvement. The mattresses were on the softer side and could benefit from being firmer for better support. The kitchen, while functional, felt disorganized—utensils and tools seemed randomly placed, making it harder to find what we needed. It was also missing some basic essentials like a whisk, measuring spoons, and measuring cups, which would be expected in a rental like this.Additionally, while the stove was operational, it appeared worn, with melted knobs that detracted from the overall quality. Upgrading to a newer stove and refreshing the kitchen equipment would go a long way in enhancing the guest experience.With a few updates and better organization, this property could easily be a top-notch stay."

"I just drove up to my room and a maintenance guy was right there, about to use his key to walk in! When I finally got inside, the door was cracked open and a staff member was just sitting at the desk hanging out on the phone. The room was just as bad—no hand soap, stained sheets, and they only swap towels every three days. I finally complained to the front desk. They offered another room, but by then, I was just over it. They didn't do anything else to make up for the headache."

"Fun house—old, not modern, but has lots of character.The kitchen was stocked wonderfully—better than any other place we’ve stayed.The beds and sofas were a bit on the soft side (not that comfortable), but not terrible. Wasn’t warm enough to use the pool. It had a lot of leaves in it, but we would have used it if it had been warmer."
