Chic Beach Bunk

This house is so cute and so close to everything in Orange Beach! Not to mention, it’s extremely clean and the layout of the house made it very easy for 7 people to share a space. Would book this again - highly recommend!

Great Beach Vibes!

A great getaway spot in Orange Beach. The property, clean and great beach vibes, has a great swimming pool and is a nice neighborhood. It is located close to multiple places to eat and play. The public beach access is a short 1/2 mile walk away. The beach is beautiful with lots of room even if busy. The only thing that would make it better was if the shoreline was not covered in large condos and you had more beach views.

Great house!

This was a great house to home base from while attending a wedding on Ono Island. It was very clean and comfortable. There does appear to be a little wear and tear, as it appears someone has sat on the couch and chairs with a wet swimsuit or towel, therefore leaving water marks. It was otherwise very clean. The beds were comfortable, the showers were spacious, and the kitchen was well stocked to prepare a meal at home. There are also a couple of casual restaurants within very easy walking distance. The owner communicated very thoroughly and we would certainly stay here again.

Girls trip

Beach was not across the street you have to get in car and drive to beach. No bbq grill S stated. Cockroaches crawling on counter. Disgusting!!!

House was perfect, but….

House was perfect until we realized there was an issue with bugs. We arrived to an overflowing outside trash receptacle. If all the trash was removed from the house prior to our arrival, Then that is why there was an issue with roaches. I do not know how or why there would be that much trash! I contacted the rental company and they took care of it the next morning. Very disappointed, because otherwise the house was perfect to accommodate our family and needs for the week. When I contacted the rental company with the issues- they were very responsive- however, mentioned the pest company had been out to spray the day we arrived- which to me, was an admittance of the problem!! Don’t let someone check into a home when there is a known issue until it is resolved. When we discovered the bugs- they sent out the pest company again- which seemed to only make the problem worse! I told them we wanted to move to another property and no one responded to me until the next day! They did move us for our last night- but I should have just packed up the car and went home! All our clothes got washed upon arrival home and our luggage remains outside in our shop to make sure we did not bring anything back!

Had High Hopes

The house was spacious and fairly clean. The walls, baseboards and furniture cushions were questionable. Everyone having their own bathroom was super nice. Like others have said, the wifi was awful. The TVs are smart TVs (rental company said they weren't). The listing said "direct beach access" but it was a mile away, along a very busy highway and closed. Even if the Romar Beach access was open, we would have driven. It was disappointing to have to drive to the beach, so we ended up going to Shell Beach everyday. 10/10! The neighborhood was quiet and the pool was awesome.

Watch your step

The house was great and in a great location! However the sand surrounding the south of the property will instantly leave your feet BLACK they must have burned all the construction materials there. I walked around the next morning to find handfuls of rusty nails, trim nails, cap nails, and broken glass all working 3 feet of the concrete. I would not let my children walk outside due to this. I contacted the property manager to address this on the first day and no one ever took care of this. Very very disappointed in that. As some others has said the noise from the “Live Bait” restaurant will keep you up on the weekend until 2 AM. Monday- Thursday was no issue. Could have used more living room seating. The positives are the house is new and very nice, close to everything and in a quiet neighborhood during the day. Negatives are noisy at night, not safe to walk around, lacked privacy from southern restaurants (needs curtains) and lack of comfortable seating. I’ll try and post pictures of all the construction debris that was left.

Good location

We really enjoyed our stay, it’s a great location close to sever beach’s, food, and a Walmart. The only down side was we wanted to get a golf cart to go everywhere and you can’t do the cart on main highway it’s over 35mph and the beach access point that they said that was .9 was closed so that was a bummer.

The actual property itself was great! Very nice home with plenty of room for our group. Communication with the management group wasn’t great.

Great House and Awesome Location

This place was wonderful!! We were in town for a softball tournament and super thankful for the location! We were within 5-15 minutes of anything we wanted to do. I never want to lug all my stuff so we drove when we wanted to join friends at the beach. The neighborhood pool was wonderful, the property itself was super clean. The large beds and bunk room were perfect for our family. Everyone LOVED having their own bathroom. The kitchen was perfectly stocked, the decor was beautiful, we loved the balcony and covered parking. There’s even a closet with stuff for the beach downstairs!! Super bonus. Our only complaints were the beds were Super firm (I’m spoiled with my squishy bed) and the night club Live Bait was super hoppin a few nights we were there (if we didn’t have kids with us, we likely would have joined the party). Overall, the house was perfect and we would certainly stay here again.

Conveniently Located!

Beautiful property… I wish definitely suggest bringing personal Wi-Fi or Hotspot as the internet being offered doesn’t work and we were unable to connect TV’s to streaming services ours entire stay.

Wonderful vacation spot

We loved our stay at Summer Salt! The pool was fantastic. The beach was close by. The 4th full bathroom was a huge bonus. The kitchen was well supplied with everything we needed to cook. The property managers responded quickly whenever we had a question. We would totally recommend this rental to our friends and family!

An exceptional experience

I had a mini vacation with visiting friends, and a stroke of luck, I found this new listing in Orange Beach. The place was in a perfect location, everything was new, and the staff was phenomenal. Highly recommend.

Vacation

Everything at the property was amazing. The only issue I had was that there is a night club about 500 feet from the house and the loud music kept us up all night.
