The unit was nice with everything you need for a beach getaway. Definitely was family friendly, with nice enough furnishings yet not so incredibly exquisite parents would be nervous. Bathrooms were spacious and quality. Kitchen was very well adorned and equipped for a quaint space. Balcony was large enough to enjoy. Property amenities are large and enjoyable for the entire family.
Beautiful view of the Ocean from balcony. Comdo was clean and comfortable. We all enjoyed our time here on vacation. The pool was great and of course the ocean was fantastic! There was only 1 hand towel in the condo for the bathrooms and then pot holders in the kitchen should be a standard . Otherwise we would come back to this condo again!!!
We really enoyed our stay at Phoenix east. The condo and facility was lovely and clean. The condo had a well stocked kitchen and was exactly as described. We spent many hours on the balcony looking at the water. My only complaint is for the $56 per car parking fee. We were there for 2 weeks. We knew about the fee before arriving so that was fine but when my neice came and we had to pay the same for her 3 day stay i thought that was excessive. Overall it was a great stay so the great rating.
Overall a good stay would stay again Overall clean could use a little more dusting in area's like the tv's and laundry area the master bedroom is definitely due for a new mattress. Biggest down fall is you have to drive to a different location to get the key and drive back to that location to return the key. I think they could easily fix that with a coded door lock. Also on top of the cost you have to pay for a parking pass which is another 50 bucks per vehicle. That should be included in the cost since it states it has parking in the amenities. But enough with the bad the view is amazing the staff at the building is very friendly and helpful. Its worth checking out.
The condo was a great place to stay. Phoenix East is a great location with excellent views of the beach and great beach access. Building staff and attendants are very helpful. The Gulf outdoor restaurant is within walking distance down the beach. I’d stay there again.
We loved our stay! There was plenty of room for our family, and the condo was clean! It came with a beautiful view of the ocean & we could see the pool—all from our balcony. You do have to go to the office at a different address to check in and get a key (& also drop it off when you leave), but that was okay with us. Overall, it was a great week!
This was a wonderful condo to stay at. We usually try to stay by the pass to be able to watch the boats. The condo was exactly as shown. Just could not figure out how to put on the surround sound...LOL....Will definitely stay there again!
We decided at the last minute to head to the beach. Booked the condo, and hit the road. Condo was clean, fully stocked with any kitchen supplies you need. Pool was nice. We will definitely be back.
Loved everything about this property! Very clean and true to the listing. The only thing we did not care for was the check in process. A door code and virtual check in instead of going to a physical management office would be much more convenient. Great other than that!! Would stay again.
We loved the condo. It was clean, comfortable, and had spectacular views. My only complaint is the check in process. Although the condo is in orange beach, the keys must be picked up and dropped off in gulf shores at the rental company who handles the condo. With traffic that could be a real inconvenience. Other than that, we loved our stay!
We come to Orange Beach for Thanksgiving regularly. We love this part of the beach. The condo was very nice with a great view of the beach and I really appreciated the non-traditional artwork. We don't cook while we are there so I can't speak to that but there were plenty enough dishes. The only bad thing about the condo was having to check in on Hwy 59 to get the keys. All of the other Phoenix condo's that we have stayed in had check in on premise. I sure missed getting there on the Baldwin beach Express :(
Room was beautiful as advertised. Floors have not been wet mopped before arrival. Next door unit had renovations that was unannounced. Loud drilling and hammering during late afternoons made for no nap times.
Let me start off by saying that the room itself is great. It has a beautiful view and the building location is convenient. The check-in/out process is sort of a headache after traveling all day and headed out after your stay. You have to drive close to a half hour out of the way to check in and pick up a physical key and drop it off at the same location after you leave. We stayed for four days and for three of those days they had elevator issues. We waited over 45 minutes for an elevator to go down to the beach with our stuff before just deciding to take the stairs. (Not that big of a deal if you don’t have all your beach things to carry down.) I get that you can have issues with equipment like that, but we did not notice anybody working on the elevators for the 2 1/2 days that they weren’t working. We really enjoyed the room, the location where it was at and the weather was nice while we were there. I recommend the owners upgrade to a keyless entry option.
We enjoyed our stay. The only reasons I did not give a 5 star rating are the following: 1) the entry door should have keyless entry so that you don't have to drive 20 minutes out of your way to the rental office to pick up and drop off the keys, 2) they should provide at least one extra roll of toilet tissue for each bathroom. They only give you one (small) roll per bathroom. They do let you know two weeks prior to your arrival that they only provide one per bathroom but seriously, toilet paper doesn't cost that much that they can't provide at least 2. We only stayed 3 nights and both bathrooms ran out prior to leaving and 3) they should provide one free parking space per condo. We had two vehicles and had to pay $55 for each parking spot. Those were all minor inconveniences but is why I did not give a 5 star.
