Regret staying
Place was lacking privacy. Photo showed beach close by but it was on opposite side of main road about 10min. No outside light on deck no shelter from rain. No where to park undercover to load and unload and it was heavy rain so everything got wet. Pretty average to be honest.

We just loved staying here, the solitude and peace after a busy time with friends and family were an absolute tonic and the Bach is so stylishly and delightfully appointed. We even enjoyed fresh lettuce, parsley and basil from the garden. Highly recommended…

Lovely gardens and view of the sea with unit well equiped and lovely shower. Cosy and quiet with relaxing bird noises,good books and everything available for self catering Pillows a bit old and hard but very minor issue

Opotiki Experience
Marie and Tom were very lovely hosts. They greeted us with warmth and in a welcoming manner. Our stay was fabulous, the accommodation was spotlessly clean and inviting. The views amazing from the deck. We foraged in the garden as suggested, so many veges for us. Thank you both, we will be back!

Secret Garden
What a surprise find. Close to a great beach, great views from the property and a magnificent garden that we were encouraged to roam. The unit was stocked with everything you needed and more. All very good quality products, fresh flower arrangements from the garden greeted us. We were very comfortable. Great shower! The owners live next door and you couldn’t have asked for nicer neighbours. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Thank you. Jocelyn

Great accommodation in lovely garden settings
We very much enjoyed our stay. The accommodation is tasteful and comfy, the garden setting just lovely and the surplus produce we were allowed to help ourselves to delicious! Accommodation is in close proximity to the owners but it's very private and the owners very nice. Easy drive down to the beach or into Ōpōtiki and further afield.
