"Property was very unique in location, appearance, decor and view of surrounding area, while having all the modern conveniences. Centrally located for exploring the Bonavista area. We loved our stay there, especially hearing the Trinity lighthouse fog horn located about 4 km away on foggy nights."

"This was the perfect home base for our family to take in the entire area and then come home to a place that felt like home."

"We had a great stay at this home. It was a comfortable home base for our trip to see the puffins. Only a 15 min drive to Elliston Puffin Viewing Site and close to many beautiful hikes and restaurants. The home was clean, pretty and had great views of the sea."

"Great location: close to lots of places to visit. Really nice place to call home for our first nights in NL. Used both decks: big deck in the evening, small deck to catch morning sun. Cabin was very well appointed…we had everything we needed and more. Super comfortable. Hosts also very helpful! We didn’t want to leave."

It is obvious that June and Paul have walked through every room and space trying to anticipate what their guests would want or appreciate and then making sure those needs and wants are provided. From the basket of every size of flip flops for the short walk to the magical hot tub in the trees, or the towel / robe hooks on the tree by the hot tub stairs, or the fresh tulips throughout the home, no detail was too...

"This place is indeed charming and more.The house is nestled into a hillside,surrounded by gardens and mature trees.And yet, the many windows in the expansive sunroom/ family room offer an amazing view of the litlle harbour and open water. We watched the fishing boats go in and out the harbour throughout the day and would walk down to the dock to visit and watch them work.What a Newfoundland experience!This house had everything we needed,; a well equipped kitchen,hundreds of books to pursue, and a beautiful piano with music books.We met the lovely neighbors, and were given some fresh cods from the lady down the road. This is a " must return" place for me in Newfoundland. Thanks Dawne."

"Perfect house. Perfect hosts. Perfect province. We couldn’t be happier. Chris and Lily have created a gem of a property.. furnished for comfort with a sophisticated understanding of what informal comfort should be. The house came well prepared including kitchen staples and bathroom necessities. I was surprised to find drawers stocked with rubbing alcohol and first aid items. Lots of white, fluffy towels.. everything but a Swedish masseuse. Lily and Chris dropped by to water outdoor plantings and see that we were okay. My wife said talking to Lily was like catching up wit a lifelong friend. The scenery was breathtaking.. Trinity in sight across the bay. The girls and young women servers we encountered at restaurants were wholesome and willing to chat. They personified the pleasant character Newfoundlanders are known for. We’re back home in Ontario now.. and feeling a bit homesick. Thank you, Lily and Chris, for making our holiday so memorable."

"Maison très confortable, hyper propre, décorée avec goût, avec cuisine toute équipée, un tourne-disque (!), et une superbe vue de toutes les fenêtres et du balcon avant et arrière. Magasin de crème glacée à pied derrière la maison, village accessible à pied avec boutiques et restaurants. Excellente place pour un pied à terre pour visiter la péninsule: Skerwink trail, ville de Bonavista, puffins viewing site à Elliston. Bref le highlight de notre voyage à Terre-Neuve!"
