Very basic, suited my needs for a place to sleep and shower. Clean Room, quiet area, keypad entry to room, contactless check in/out. Just be aware that parking is limited/small, so if you have a larger vehicle or trailer you will need to park offsite.
The room was not clean upon my arrival. There was small bits of debris on the floor (it was obvious they did not vacuum after the prior guest left!). The bathroom was dirty. Also, the parking lot had large piles of leaves and debris in it. Also, 2 rooms down from mine there was a Styrofoam to-go food container lying on the walk-way - with old, rotting food in it! It remained there the entire week I was there - and appeared to have been there for at least a week prior to my arrival! This place was completely different under the prior owner (clean & tidy with great customer service). I have stayed here for nearly 15 years in a row, and I am amazed at how filthy everything is - under the new ownership. I also spoke to a few other guests, and they had the same complaints as me. This place is a disgrace to northern Michigan!
