"I paid for a business club room as I wanted the space as we were travelling a while and had big suitcases - turns out the business rooms are the same as a standard room, despite it saying could sleep 3, there is no way it could sleep 3, but with a business room you're on the 6th floor. It's not like there's skyrise buildings you need better views from or of. The reception staff were not pleasant about the concern of a lack of space and told me it doesn't matter what it says on Expedia, this is what they have. The cleaning was fine, the breakfast was varied."

"Very clean and nice rooms. Always refill of waterbottles, coffe and tea. Very nice breakfast where you could sit indoors or outdoors. Very nice poolarea, and also very clean. Staff were superfriendly"

"Room was great for the price. Comfortable and clean bed. Amazing bath tub to soak in. Mini fridge and coffee area. Got a late check out for one of our rooms. Staff were friendly for the most part. My room phone didnt work and although I told the front desk, it didnt het fixed. If you order food, they arent allowed to come up but no one would tell me it was there si it would just sit in the lobby."

"The hotel was good but not great. The good: Not super expensive at about US$40/night. Proximity to certain attractions like Sultan Qaboos mosque, the two malls and the airport itself. The bad: The bathroom fittings were rusty and broken. Many times, hot water simply did not come. Lack of good dining options nearby. The restaurant in the hotel only serves breakfast and dinner."

"This was our second stay at the Muscat Intercontinental and this time again it was a very happy experience at every level: location, welcome, cleanliness, food, and importantly every single member of staff we dealt with. Too many to name but everyone at the reception desk, at The Musandam and other restaurants, at the Club Lounge. All faultlessly pleasant, professional and helpful. All of this creates a gentle vibe and environment and we hope to visit again soon."
