The neighborhood was a little on the rough side with tons of transients due to the homeless shelter being nearby. The upstairs resident above 201 was extremely loud and up all night sounding like they were going to fall through the ceiling. They also did their laundry every night around 1am and it sounded like a jet taking off. The unit itself was nice. Bed squeaked a lot when you barely moved and the shower water pressure was horrible. Parking was extremely limited due to CWS games. Having to park miles away in a not so nice area wasn’t the best. For the price and proximity to the CWS it was worth it.

We really wanted to like this property, but there were some issues. The property is pretty much as advertised. We were there for the BigTen Baseball Conference and could walk to the stadium. The workout facility was great, and the apartment itself was bare bones nice. The problem we experienced was the homeless situation outside the complex. For example, a homeless man yelled obscenities and loudly argued with himself on our first night, not stopping until 5:30 AM. On the next night, a homeless individual actually started a fire on the loading dock at the business across the street. (Police arrived and the fire was extinguished.) When booking this VRBO, we didn't realize that there are numerous homeless shelters and encampments only a block or two away. We understand that this is not the property's fault, but it did affect our stay here. The price is right, but feeling unsafe and losing sleep was not worth it.

The apartment was super easy to get into, but also had great security. We loved the modern interior and amenities!! There were plenty of cool places very close by, and the building was pretty quiet. It is a great place for 2 people to stay for a fun weekend with a relaxing place to stay!
