Thank you for your review on Expedia dated 22 November 2022.We at the Wild Orchid Beach Resort are always striving to improve our facilities and service and we acknowledge your concerns. Our guest feedback is always valued, and we use this feedback to strive for continual improvement to our resort.Your viewpoint is important to us, and we are sorry to hear that you were disappointed with the service and facilities of the hotel during your stay from November 1-4, 2022.In regard to the condition of the building, we are currently undertaking renovation of the building and rooms and we have recently renovated all of our poolside rooms to new condition.With regard to the Day Tour Package, it’s the policy of the hotel to charge Ph500.00/person in which Ph350.00 is consumable for food. This policy is designed to restrict the number of people using our pool and facilities so that we can ensure our staying guests are not overburdened by outside guests and they are free to enjoy the facilities that they have paid for. In regard to that, the standard charge for your group would be Php9,500.00 (Php500.00 per person) if they wanted to use the pool and other facilities. In this case, as you had a large group and you were dining in our restaurant, we discounted this fee to Php2,000.00 as a one-off token of our appreciation for your group joining you.In regard to our restaurant staff in the restaurant who have not given you a prompt and efficient engagement, we have reviewed our CCTV footage and have communicated and reminded our staff to provide our guests with a great service and experience to eliminate such instances.We hope that you will consider staying with us again so that we can have another chance to provide you with a lovely time and the effort to completely resolve issues and concerns.Best regards,PAULO ROCES Operations Manager
