"The house is older, with single-pane glass windows, old wooden plank floors, and so on. It looks charming (my children compared it to the house where Petterson and Findus live), with a nice porch and its own bit of yard. The kids loved the beds in their room. "The hotel is ideally located in Jonkoping. 2 minutes walk from the train and bus stations. The hotel is on the lakefront and there are nice lakeside walks and beaches. The hotel is well decorated / maintained. All the staff I encountered were friendly and helpful (with local knowledge). The breakfast provided by the hotel was very nice with a wide variety of hot and cold options. There is an English style pub attached to the hotel with a wide range of beers and a good selection of food. The room allocated was on the small side but fine for a single occupant. There was a fridge and coffee / tea making facilities. Jonkoping is a nice town with a wide range of shops, restaurants, bars and coffee shops. I enjoyed my stay in the hotel and town"

"One of the most memorable hotels we stayed at on our Swedish drive trip. The hotel rooms were very quaint and the restaurant was outstanding. We had an elaborate, traditional, Swedish dinner and then in the morning a very well prepared breakfast. We stayed one night, but wished we had stayed several nights."
