The actual hotel is stunning. Built like a castle, warm, comfortable and beautiful. However, there is literally nothing to do around it except several fairly difficult hikes. No wifi, small little pool. It would be a romantic place to unplug and unwind, but for kids or as a base to explore, no.

Serviço terrível, clientes a mais para o espaço do restaurante impossibilitando a deslocação entre as mesas. Buffet servido no hall da recepção, sem espaço e condições. Comida mediana. Poucos funcionários para 70 pessoas...

Quiet location, slept with the window open during the rain. Food was great. Clean and comfy too.

Portuguese bike tour
Very unique property if your looking for that certain quality. Beautiful surroundings and even more amazing biking roads. Restaurant very good and does the best Portuguese tarts all.

Nice getaway
We come here often, it's one of our favorite getaway hotels. It has a great pool and garden, it benefits from a fantastic view and is close to nice natural river pools and walking trails. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The breakfast is good, Lunch and dinner are served on a beautiful outdoor terrace, but regrettably the food could be better, especially for the price, and there are no good restaurant options close by.

Cozy place in a cozy village
Rooms as well as common places are very cozy and creates a very warm atmosphere. The bedding is of very good quality. On the negative side, the SPA usage is not included in the price and would have make the overall cost more expansive than any other hotels we visited. That should be more clearly indicated on hotels.com

My only complaint is the lack of acoustic isolation on the bedrooms. Everything else was great, especially the staff’s sympathy.

O quarto familiar cheirava a mofo e a tinta das paredes está a sair. Toalhas a precisarem de ser renovadas. Falta espaço para o pequeno almoço, não tem mesas para todos, tivemos de esperar para uma mesa vaga. Quanto ao atendimento, bastante simpáticos e o restaurante é muito bom.
