The resort is amazing! I loved the calmness. The outside pool had a perfect water temperature. The SPA pools were a bit too hot and the water is too deep, not ideal for small people. I loved the relaxing area next to the river. The massage was also amazing. The staff was lovely. I had dinner in the Root restaurant, my dish was good, especially the caldo verde. My mum, who can’t it spicy and is lactose intolerant had a dish which was visually close to a fast food plate and also the taste of the meat was horrible, very dry, we were expecting more creativity from the chef, also we waited 90 minutes for the dishes. Breakfast was delicious!

Lovely place with helpful staff.

We had a lovely stay. All staff were helpful and friendly, a big thanks to Ricardo that was amazing since we arrived and gave us tips of places to visit in the area. Overall we had a lovely stay, thanks.

Premium service!

Service was above 5 stars! We had a personal health situation with one of our party members and the staff was very supprtive, they accompanied my grandmother to the Hospital and followed the whole process closely. We couldn't have been better taken care of. The whole staff was always pleasant and helpful! The food at the Roots restaurant was superb as well. Rooms were spacious and cozy.

Spa-Bereich ist ein wenig in die Jahre gekommen und das Angebot könnte abwechslungsreicher sein. Die Außenanlagen sind gut gepflegt und bieten ausreichend Rückzugsmöglichkeiten zum Entspannen. Die Zimmer (ist natürlich geschmacksache) sind sehr dunkel gehalten. Das Personal und insbesondere die Küche waren super.

Relevo para a amabilidade e competência do pessoal. Boa comida tanto no restaurante como no bar. Algumas falhas nos quartos. Não têm cabides para pendurar gabardines ou sobretudos. Falta de cx com lenços papel. Luz da casa de banho muito incomodativa para quem está na cama(tem um vidro absolutamente desnecessário). Luzes da mesinha de cabeceira inúteis, não permitem leitura e incomodam. Óptima cama.

Good stay , need to improve the interoir design

Very nice place, location amazing. Clean rooms, good food. One important commment, really the interior designer did bad job, what are those drops on the toilet room, its an office door.too much white light, also in Bar. The hotel really use expensive material but there is no mood. The rooms will be much nicer with better lighting. The bathroom really design is not nice , colors just doesnt fit and the light is of hospital. We couldn't find the way to the Bar. The entrance is not inviting and you see on floor on stairs some white paint. Really good hotel but someone really need to pay attention to the small details as its 5 stars.

Água e relax

Este hotel vale pelas águas sulfúreas. Possui piscina interior e exterior coberta com água a 26 graus. O passeio junto ao Rio Alva também deve ser tudo em conta. Os quartos são espaçosos. O restaurante é cozinha de autor, logo torna-se caro. Cerca de 35€ pp. Fora vinhos, no entanto a água também é cara. Local e hotel agradável para passar até 2 noites.

Very nice place to relax

Very lovely place to escape the everyday stress. The staff was very friendly and the spa/wellness area was great. We had a facial and massage treatment. This could have been a bit more professional, but nothing that should make you not visit the place. The breakfast was amazing!

Quero meu dinheiro e a minha diária de volta

Nao ficamos hospedados, pq o quarto reservado não nos foi dado, sob a justificativa de que o quarto vista jardim era de categoria superior, ademais o restaurante estava fechado por dois dias e o quarto não tinha sequer televisão. Por fim, para irmos até o spa e piscina precisariamos ir por fora do hotel num frio de 5 graus na serra da estrela.

Adoramos o espaço, desde o apartamento ao spa. Salientamos também o cuidado e atenção aos pormenores, como disponibilizarem banheira, produtos de higiene e roupão específicos para bebés, assim como o atendimento personalizado por parte dos funcionários do hotel. Como pontos menos positivos apontamos o “colchão” da cama do bebé (apenas uma fina esponja, pouco confortável) e o facto de não existirem acessos interiores ou cobertos para os diferentes serviços, como restaurante e spa (seria útil nestes dias mais frios e/ou chuvosos). Sem duvida que recomendamos este hotel.

Simpatia, Paz e Sossego

Local de acesso complicado, pois temos de que descer o vale por estradas acentuadas. Talvez se o acesso for pela Aldeia de Avó fique mais simplificado. Lá chegados, temos pessoal atencioso e dedicado. O SPA é um dos locais a explorar, intensivamente. Os quartos são de boas dimensões. Passeios ao ar livre também se recomendam. Seguramente a repetir para 3 ou 4 dias.
