Definitely will return

They were wonderful hosts. The home was inviting with beautiful patios on 2nd and 3rd floors. Location is perfect. Like everywhere in Portugal, parking availability is an issue.

Hidden gem on narrow cobbled street, we used the recommended parking which was a short walk. Due to travel delays we arrived after 11pm but Rosie welcomed us and showed us where to find everything. Only 3 bedrooms in property so very exclusive, loved the decorations and roof terraces, with steep ladders for access. Loved the huge comfy beds and handy usb charging ports. Disappointed to learn pool is not onsite but at a nearby property so instead we enjoyed sunrise on the roof terrace. Airport transfer was offered but we found car hire cheaper at airport than downtown prices.

Beyond basi

The bed was very small without a headboard and the bathroom was on another level down a flight of stone stairs with a 6-step 180 degrees winder with poor lighting.

I really enjoyed my stay. The couple that run the place are wonderfully kind and helpful. Its in a great location, especially for someone travelling by bus and train as i am. The breakfast is as good as you can get with plenty of choice and first class ingredients. The couple is very helpful with recommendations and information. Just be careful booking with expedia. It appeared breakfast was included. But you have to be sure it says that when you choose your room. Of course, this was in no way the propertys fault.

If you wan't to try a 300 years old apartment with modern standard - this is for you. But this is in the senter of the old town - and without streets for cars. Minus: Bee avard; it is nothing outside, not a garden and not basseng, the photos is false.
