"Starting with the staff. Amazing people and and very friendly. My room was the most clean as I've seen in any 5 star hotel. My room was cleaned every single day. Towels were white and had no stains on them. My room even had alittle living room with a couch that lets out to a bed so I'd ask about that particular room because not all of them have couches.
I got lucky and on the hotels.com app ended up getting this little gem for $45 a night. I'd also ask the owner about his 350 weekly rates. "
Charming barn with 1 bedroom and AC, WiFi in beautiful Brookhaven
10/10 Excellent
"This little Barndominium was the perfect place for my & my daughter’s stay while attending the Pentecostal Youth conference. It is very quaint, cozy, in a very nice quiet neighborhood; it would actually be very nice for a romantic getaway for a couple, or even just a sabbatical for an individual. We really enjoyed ourselves and Chris was very accommodating and quick with responding when the need arose. "The facility is still going through a remodel of all the rooms. Entry door felt loose but did lock properly. Mattress was of a much cheaper quality and neither my wife or I slept well due to it. The bathroom door was hung improperly and needs to be either shaved in the top left corner so it will shut as it should. Need to re-caulk the entire shower, especially where the tub meets the floor. Water pressure and shower head were good. Clearly second hand end tables by bed were clean but very worn. A simple sanding and spray painting would do wonders, same goes for the desk. Highly recommend different front window curtains, the room was exceptional bright for sleeping due to the 20 foot tower light in the parking lot, 30 feet from the front door, and the lighting on each room entrance, (all outdoor entrances for rooms). the staff was courteous and tried to assist where they could. This is only one of two hotels in the town of Monticello, and the better of the two.
