Find yourself in the heart of Old Orchard Beach and make yourself at home in this coastal escape overlooking the strip, pier, and the ocean beach, yet far enough away to chill and relax in peace. After a full day of exploring the local shops or chilling on the sand within walking distance of your front door, there will be no delay in curbing appetites with the full kitchen complete with lovely countertops, modern appliances, and a plethora of utensils that are more than ready for any recipe. When you want to settle down a bit, the high-speed WiFi and streaming capabilities on the flatscreen TV will keep everyone entertained as the stars come out. Not to mention, you can bring the furry members of the family along too, as this retreat is dog-friendly!

If you are bringing a dog on your trip, the pet fee is already included in your quote when selecting ‘Yes’ to pets. If you would like to add more dogs, please contact us. The pet fee is per stay and ranges between $150 and $200, depending on the bedroom count, and will apply for each additional dog.

Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.

Great stay
This is my family’s second time staying at this property. We love it. It is clean, the kitchen is spacious, and the location is absolutely perfect! We have a view of the ocean and Palace Playland. We will come back here again for sure!

Disappointing
Looked good from initial stay. Things started to happen in the middle of the week. Started noticing dirty mattresses, dirty pillows, loose toilets and dog hair all over the sofa. Nice location but not what I expected.

Overall this place has a great location. The building is older and the condo/unit 7 was recently renovated in the last ten year. For the unit it is too high for what is offered with this rental. You're paying for location with this rental. Clear and updated instructions (pictures or video) are needed on how to access the building, along with adding an address to the granite pillar and apartment/condo complex. I know this is common place with a lot of rentals, but checking in a 4pm feels too late in the day. We were comfortable during our stay, it has a full kitchen and a fridge large enough to hold a weeks worth of meals in there. You have a great shot of the ocean and some amusements from the two windows facing that direction. It's also a quick drive to a lot of great locations in southern Maine.

Absolutely filthy place. Pictures sent in of blood stained comforters and rugs. Urine smell.
Awful. Would not recommend the place or Vacasa due to poor customer service. No supervisors available on a weekend. Please check your records for the history of this awful stay.

While the photos look great, there were sadly quite a few things wrong with the place. A clogged bathroom sink; paint and drywall peeling; a stove stop that was so greasy we did not dare use it; the main kitchen light fixture barely hanging on. Not t mention the sofa whose springs literally jump out to greet you when you sit on it. Which means that you lose 2/3 of available seating. This was incidentally brought up in 2022 by another guest. Does’t seem the owners care much though. In a nutshell, do not be beguiled by the lovely photos. It looks like them, but...

Not worth it
The unit has a really nice view of downtown and the pier. Cool view of the ferris wheel lit up at night. At first glance, the unit is nicely decorated. However, it needs to be refreshed - there are chunks missing out of the walls, things falling apart, ongoing water damage next to the tub. Maintenance from the building came by on the first morning of the stay to check on the kitchen sink because there was a massive leak happening to the unit below. Overall, it seemed as if no one has been keeping up the unit, aside from routine cleaning. Building reeked of weed smoke. The bedrooms are directly next to an Irish pub, so I do not recommend staying there Fri-Sun (the band was cranking until 1am). The living room couch is literally the most uncomfortable chair I have ever experienced in my entire life. For the price, I was pretty disappointed.

Location of the property was ideal. However, the property was outdated and needed much repair to some of the furniture pieces. The couch in main room has springs pushing through. The queen mattress needed a topper. My husband and I both had some back pain after sleeping on it. Cleanliness was an issue. Dusting on the fans and dirt in the windowsills. floors and surfaces were not well cleaned. We had a nice view of the pier and Ferris wheel. Very centrally located. My family did have a nice trip.

Cute apartment in prime location
The location is amazing for a stay in OOB. Short walk to the beach, in the midst of shops and restaurants, and a great view of the ocean from the living room and kitchen! The apartment was clean and a good size for two people and two dogs. Having two full bathrooms was also a huge plus for getting ready! The only con in the apartment was the couch. It was incredibly uncomfortable with springs sticking up at varying angles. The hallways in and out of the apartment are narrow and a little dark as we read in another review but it wasn’t a huge deal. There wasn’t a ton of foot traffic in the hallways so it was a non issue. You could hear other apartments and neighbors with loud music and TV in the evenings but the noise never stayed loud late into the night so it wasn’t a huge issue for us at all. Overall we enjoyed our stay, everything we needed was provided, and could see ourselves making this an annual trip!

Quiet Winter Retreat
Yes - this is a prime resort area in the summer - very very busy with lots of attractions and beaches and summer time eats. We were there early December and the area is shut down. But we loved it - quiet so the focus is on the winter sky and changing ocean. Lots of nice long walks. The condo was ideally situated on the main street - the third floor offered great views of the morning sunrises. The condo is nicely appointed, very clean and accommodated our party of three perfectly. We had everything we needed (well, a toaster would have been nice:-). Next door is a coffee shop that features homemade cinnamon buns. It was a daily stop. Old Orchard is wonderful in the winter. We hated to leave the town and our rental.

Disappointed
This property was a disappointment. The unit is in an old building that is run down outside. The stairway and hallway to get to the unit is dark and narrow. - very rundown The unit looks like the pictures online. It is bright and sunny. The walls are paper thin so you hear the neighbors non-stop. I would it consider the kitchen well equipped The pots and pans and silverware were cheap. I am not expecting a chef kitchen but the pots and pans were super low end T-Fal pans and dollar store thin silverware. The couch looks super cute but is incredibly uncomfortable as are the chairs. If I could have found a hotel or another rental, I would have checked out immediately. I would not recommend this place to anyone.

Great, clean, beautifully decorated in the heart of Old Orchard Beach
This property is perfect. It is super clean, nicely decorated and close to everything Old Orchard Beach has to offer. We didn’t have to move our car. Don’t let the outside or the stairway fool you, once you’re in the condo, it’s prefect! We had a great time!!
