「We had such a great experience at this stay. From how communicative the host is to feasibility of check in/out, the stay was stress free and accommodating. The host provided concise instructions, great hospitality and timely responses to questions which made this trip that more enjoyable. 「My husband and I’s mini-honeymoon stay at the Wayside Inn was great! The room we had was clean, spacious, charming, and cozy all at once. Mr. Joe the innkeeper was very friendly and was always there when we needed him for anything. He also cooks a mean breakfast and has a great knowledge of the unique history of the property. Overall, it was a great place to get away from the bustle and noise of the city and just relax! Hopefully we will get to come back soon 😊」

「Pros: Check in & check out was easy. The apartment is right on a bus route to the National Mall/Smithsonian Museums, a 15 minute walk to the metro, 10 minute walk to a supermarket, and it's practically nextdoor to a restaurant. The location felt safe. The price was good. The kitchen came equipped with essentials. The on-site laundry wasn't overpriced (pro tip: bring quarters for laundry, it's coin-op.) The host provided linens, towels, and toiletries (and the towels were super soft & fluffy!)...

「The overall stay was nice, check in information was not listed but once I reached out to owner they were quick to respond. The only few complaints I have is that 1) there was a fire alarm that I believe had low battery so it was beeping frequently which was a little annoying 2) the room next to the kitchen was filled with storage boxes and other things that wasn’t picture - a lot of the pictures featured I would say are a little outdated and not as accurate 3) the kitchen light switch didn’t...

「The managers were super responsive, check in was easy and the place had everything I needed for a short stay. Located near a lot of important landmarks, and not far from the Capitol, Wharf or the airport. I noticed folks in the neighborhood were also kind, alert and helpful.」
