「We loved the location of the property. It is in a very quiet area on the island and Derek has thought of everything one could possibly need. We felt like the house was bigger than it appeared in the listing. Having the golf cart at the house was huge and saved us a few hundred dollars by not having to rent one. Derek was great to work with. My truck had to get towed off the island but he sent someone to the house to try to assist to fix the problem. We’ve really couldn’t have asked for a better...

「We loved this house. We’ve vacationed in the outer banks for 20 years and have never stayed in the same house or area twice. We loved this place so much that we are crossing our fingers that it’s not already booked for next year’s vacation! We spent most of our time on the third floor in the kitchen, living room and dining area. There was plenty of space for all 13 of us! The porch off the kitchen is perfect for morning coffee! The pool area + bar was our favorite! It was the best hang out...

「The Sound House exceeded all our expectations! Pictures don't do it justice. The traditional beach cottage has lovely decor, a well-equiped kitchen, and a wonderful view and access to the sound. We loved being able to launch our kayaks from the backyard. We having been coming to the island for 35+ years and this is now our favorite cottage. Perfect for a couple's getaway!」

「The house was big and beautiful. It was stylishly furnished. The views from the top floor and living area were fabulous. With all of the sliding doors and screens, we could hear the wonderful roar of the surf all the time. This would be a wonderful place for a family reunion or a group of good friends with or without kids to get together For a week. There was a lot of provisions for babies and little kids like a crib a little stroller there were baby gates. ….. Couple of recommendations:...

「Home was well equipped. Kitchen cupboards were not cleaned need to be wiped out. Trash cans were full when we arrived, making disposal of our garbage difficult also increased the fly problem. Extra pillow cases would have been nice there were plenty of pillows just no linens also there were no linens for the hide a bed . Location was great. Views from the deck was amazing. The lay out of the house was ideal for our family.」

「Wild Peony was the perfect house for us. It was convenient to everything in Ocracoke Village. The house had all the comforts of home and a well-equipped kitchen. It was also immaculate! The best feature of this home was the lookout deck on top of the house. You could see Widgeon Woods, the marsh grasslands, the Pamlico Sound, the lighthouse and the sunsets and starry skies at night were just breathtaking! And you're up above everything in town! We hated to leave, and will definitely be back!」
