Outdated

Old and outdated appliances that didnt work well. Bathrooms outdated and gathering room couches uncomfortable and in the cellar very odd. No key to community center as promised unable to use any amenities. Very dark outside to take dogs out. Alot of burned out lights. Nice community but would not rent this house disappointing

Lovely

We spent a week here and couldn't be happier with the experience. The location was perfect, quiet, and had very close lake access. It's convenient to all of the major attractions of the lake without all of the traffic. The house was quaint and comfortable. We felt at home almost immediately.

Nice place, but…

We loved the house and the location. The only problem we had was there is no AC in the house. The temperature reached the high 80’s with high humidity. Even with windows open there was no air movement. It made for an uncomfortable couple of nights sleep.

Nice house, secluded neighborhood, close to water

Excellent last minute find to bring my family including our dog for a weekend. House was excellent, the neighborhood was very quiet and secluded, we are very happy with our stay.

Quiet community peaceful retreat

The home has a nice layout with lots of natural light. There's lake access through the community (no lakeview). It was simply functional, and could certainly use some updates.

It was OK

Could use some upgrades. Put a bathroom in the lower level. Put a TV in the main living area. There was some lamps that did not work, and the blind in the upstairs bedroom was broke. Also there was DEAD bees in the bottom storage area and by the window in the main level bedroom.

Awesome Family Home !

The pictures from the website won't provide future renters an accurate appreciation of how peaceful and amazing this property is. From the curb appeal to the architectural design just sets the tone for a great vacation and escape every day life. I would suggest bringing the whole family because there's plenty of room. Perfect environment for youngsters and seinors. My dog loved being there and adapted quickly. There were two issues that need to be addressed. The house was not nearly as clean as it should've been. The front door and the side door locks need to be replaced ASAP ! We informed the main office and they sent a maintenance person out the same day to repair, so that was a plus. However, the locks need to be changed. With all that being said I would go back again without a second thought.

Snow lovers with 4 kids and 2 dogs

We needed a quick getaway to somewhere with snow with 4 kids ages 2-11 and 2 dogs. This delivered. From the outside fire pit, the inside fire place, the provided wood, we thoroughly enjoyed building fires and making s’mores. The cleanliness is on par for houses that allow dogs. THANK YOU FOR ALLOWING DOGS. Ping pong in the basement was a hit. The 2 TVs are very nice. We don’t watch much tv but the kids enjoyed the vcr and kids movies provided. We brought our own Amazon fire stick to watch Netflix and it worked great in the basement. We walked daily around the neighborhood and enjoyed walking on the frozen lake, playing on the playground and watching the deer in the field across the street. Great time and would return!

The house was great. Only issues were the pillows Were stained and the upstairs mattress was uncomfortable for us . We used our own Pillows. Anyway so not an issue for us. The downstairs toilet ran and had to have rubber flap moved back over the hole several times. Again minor issues

Lovely Cabin! Great Stay!

We rented this property to have a weekend away to visit Deep Creek Lake. The Cabin and surrounding scene was beautiful, trees all around, and lots and lots of privacy. Property is great for a short-term or long-term stay! Very close to Deep Creek Lake. The property does have carpet, and unfortunately while there, I cut myself on small pieces of broken glass that had not been vacuumed or swept. Nothing a good ole-fashioned bandage couldn't resolve! Would definitely stay at the property again!

Great Property on Beautiful Grounds

Loved the Linwood home and its location. It was surrounded by natural beauty, woods, wildlife and the lake! It was very peaceful and quiet, a lovely way to unwind. I would stay in the home again.
