  • Welcome to The Half Shell Cottage, a quaint Oak Island bungalow close enough to hear the ocean and within walking distance to the beach.

    Newly renovated with fresh walls, floors, and fixtures, this seaside cottage keeps its original charm. Inside there are three bedrooms and one bathroom with one Queen Bed, one Full Bed, and Full-Size bunk beds. Cozy in size, but big on location, it's an easy relaxed, place to unwind, enjoy a drink, and let the beach days linger.

The home was absolutely perfect for my husband and I and our two spoiled Shih Tzu dogs. We loved the fenced back yard and the deck off the master bedroom. Also - there was a pet door - which our little guys LOVED to use!! The house was well stocked - we had everything we needed. We also used the “beach buggy” (that we found in the outdoor shed). We had an amazing time !!
