"Although breakfast was available late on our first morning because the scheduled kitchen staff didn't come in, it was good even though hastily put together by the replacement staff. The next day the breakfast room opened on time and the food selection was better prepared, tasty, and plentiful. Our bathroom was provided with plenty of towels and washcloths. I do wish that there had been a grab bar in the walk-in shower as the shower floor was a bit slippery. Overall, we found it a wonderful place to stay and will definitely book there again when in the area."

"Cozy, updated and stylish with ALL the comforts of home plus many things you may have forgotten or didn’t think you might need (nail clippers, zip lock bags, Tupperware, makeup remover). Quiet area w many trails for walking on property, High Bridge trail for biking literally crosses the driveway. Host were attentive and responsive in providing check in and check out instructions and available if needed and yet absent as well. Beautiful place to unplug and recharge and be active or reflective. The fox theme and accents and decor—amazing! Comfortable beds, warm blankets available, safety vests for walking, A home reflecting the heart of a caring host family. A place to come back to, over and over!"

"Beautiful scenery, warm comfortable cabin, fantastic host. Really enjoyed our stay celebrating our 20th anniversary. Also highly recommend South Hill just fifteen minutes away. Great shopping and dining experience. "

"The house is larger than it appears in the photos and has everything you would need. We were in town for our daughter's wedding and we filled the house with the Bridal party and our family. There is soo much character everywhere in the house. The beds were comfortable, the rooms were large, the kitchen had every amenity I could ask for. Our POC for the house, Megan, was soo accommodating. The wedding date shifted by 2 months when the military had other plans for her fiancé, and we were allowed to shift our reservation without extra cost. Then we wanted to come in a day early to get ready, so she let us add a day. At the end the wedding wrap up ended late and we asked for late check out, which she again granted. It was a wonderful stay and I'd stay here again, but maybe without the pressures of wedding next time."

"We really enjoyed our stay in this adorable house! We really liked the open wall-mounted clothing racks and the open room/kitchen design. We were staying for wedding close by and the open clothing racks in the bedrooms were perfect and convenient!The house was very clean. The hostess was quick to respond to a question and access was easy. Highly recommend!"
