"We went up to visit our grandchildren and not as tourists. The hotel was great with all but one area. It was very clean, well kept, lots of amenities, a beach with jet ski, kyack and pedal trikes to rent, continental breakfast from 6 am to 10 am which was a better time span than most, check out at 11 am so no need to set an alarm and get up early to check out. The one and only downside is nobody supervising the pool area. There were several young children I would say ages 7 to 11 maybe left in the pool area with no adult supervision. Not the hotels fault (parental failure to follow rules) but if there were an attendant that could see the whole pool area these children would have left with their parents as they would not have had the option otherwise. Above all for the minimum time we spent actually at the hotel it was good."

"Very nice property, clean right on the lake. Not beachfront, though, as one of the pictures would have you believe. There's just a little boat launch there. The bed sheets were quite starchy and stiff, and the air conditioner was pretty loud. Other than that, everything else was pretty good. Great hot breakfast with lots of choices"

"I’m 72 years old and it was one of the nicest hotels I’ve stayed in. The service was amazing. The staff was off the charts and I would highly recommend the restaurant and the bar. I cannot believe there’s a quality hotel at this level in Grand Forks. Never stay anywhere else."

"What I didn’t like, I wasn’t there long enough to enjoy it. I got in at midnight and had to go before 8 AM. I slept like a baby. The short stay was not the fault of the motel, it was my own."

"We stayed in #7 and it was perfect for our multi-generational family! Close to the lodge, pool and beach. The view of the bay was spectacular! The only advice I could give is to bring plenty of towels, a clothesline and lawn chairs."
