"Clean, functional room with balcony. Friendly staff, excellent home cooked food in the restaurant, great service. Although part of a chain (Logis de France) the hotel appeared to be family run and after several nights staying in large, international chains it felt refreshingly 'French'. It is located in a small, quiet village, a little off the beaten track but not difficult to find with Sat Nav and not far from the motorway. Excellent value for money."

The owners were friendly and we had a nice chat when I first arrived. Expedia said checkout was at 12 noon, but I got a knock on the door at 11, telling me that checkout is actually at 10am. This was a surprise, but an error on Expedia I assume, and not an error from the hotel. It should be updated so others are not surprised. Even though I was late for...
