This lovely home on the more quiet and beautiful north shore, made for a perfect holiday. We are two retired couples looking for adventure and relaxation and we got lots of both! For relaxing you can't beat the pool to come home to after touring all day. But we never missed a night out on the lounge chairs looking for shooting stars or our morning coffee out by the pool almost catching the sun rise but always getting a visit from the 2 resident lion lizards living under the shells. The house is truly a home -- beautifully decorated and supplied with all one needs - - great kitchen and lots of beach towels! And sooooo clean!! The new tile bath is beautiful and everything is so well kept. The owners and property managers take pride and loving care of this home and it shows. We arrived just as hurricane "Michael" passed by and it had really kicked up the seaweed and trash on the beach and debris in the pool. Both were cleaned up within a day - AMAZING! In the 2 weeks there we did and saw lots. Rum Point was a favorite -- so close and such a fun atmosphere. The snorkeling, swimming , lunches and drinks were fantastic. Went to starfish point twice because those creatures are so beautiful and amazing. Went to HELL and back then visited the Turtle farm. Beautiful creatures. The trip out to Stingray City was equally amazing. Being off season, the crowds and cruise ships were less so we enjoyed smaller groups everywhere. We got lucky at the Botanical Gardens and Hal took us around on the golf cart for a personal tour explaining the history and flora. Seeing the blue iguanas was a rare treat. Drove the East end and saw the blow holes and enjoyed another enlivened tour guide at Pedro St. James the oldest stone house on the island. Take in the National Museum in Georgetown that has a really good video and artifacts and then no trip to Georgetown would be complete without some shopping. Don't miss Pure Art our favorite shop before you get into town. Lots of handmade local art and jewelry. Also dove a reef, wreck and the Wall with Don Foster's Center. Fantastic service. We never had a bad meal and went several times to Rum Point, Over the Edge, Tukka's, Lighthouse and a few waterfront in Georgetown. But mostly we loved cooking our own fresh seafood out on the grill at home. The real "pearl" of GCI has been Cayman Dream. Such a pleasure to return to each day and jump in that pool to cool off and relax. We rate this property 20 STARS**
