"It was getting late (13 hr drive for us)-The only host to ever message me to make sure we made it to the house ok. This hoise is grandmas house. When you walk in you see all grandma and grandpas treasures. So fun to walk around and look at the beautiful lady in the pic in the bathroom window. Or grandpa's Pearl Harbor Survivor plate. You can quickly figure out what kind of beer grandpa liked. From black and white wedding pictures to JC Penny pictures.A memorable stay for sure. If you the minimalist type, or very OCD about spaces-this isnt the house for you. If you like naps at grandmas house and a beer on the back porch for sunset, and feeling like your family as soon as you walk in-book it. Mountain views are fantastic. House is well stocked. Bed was comfy.We both have lost our grandparents & our parents. If an extra grand daughter needed- I'm available for adoption anytime."
"We stayed here and traveled to Yosemite, Sequoia & Kings Canyon. Great place to unwind in the evenings. Enjoyed watching the deer play in the back yard almost every evening. I’d recommend this place to anyone traveling to the National Parks in the area. Oh and the cookies were so delicious!!!"

"Very nice outside and inside. Nicely landscaped and stocked very well inside making it a wonderful place. Although most of the Lassen Volcanic National Park was still closed we had a great visit to the area and enjoyed our stay at North Fork. "

"What a fabulous place to stay! Every detail is intentional, well thought out, and thoughtful to guests. When other reviews say photos do not do this home justice, it is true. You will be blown away taking your first steps into this mountain retreat. The indoor and outdoor areas have plenty of activities and space for guests, and a beautiful kitchen to make home meals and making memories with family. Not only is this household magnificent, but the cleanliness is immaculate. I cannot express this enough. For such a large house, every room and location kept in mind the comfort of guests. I could write multiple paragraphs about all the details of this home. Truly felt like a home, and the hosts are very much thinking about those visiting with everything they provide to make us comfortable. Every member of my family had countless compliments about this experience. Communication with the host was always pleasant and response always timely. You will not find a better location. Lasting memories will be made here. Thank you again to our wonderful hosts, and we hope to stay again soon!"
