"The property offers anything that we need as a family, ranging from good quality towels and kitchen utensils to board games. Everything is spotless, clean and the attention to detail is impeccable. We really enjoy our stay.The heating is excellent even in sub-zero weather. The only downside is the hot water may not be sufficient for back to back showers. Besides, the freezer may be too small or not cold enough for ice cream!! Nevertheless, it is an excellent choice in the Eifel National park."

"Eine kleine aber sehr schöne Wohnung, Whz, Küche, Bad, mit Blick in den Garten. Fußläufig über den "Hinterausgang" an dem "Streichelzoo" mit Hühner , Ziegen und Esel vorbei, ist man direkt am Feld mit unzähligen Wegen zum spazieren gehen. Einkaufsmöglichkeiten sind, mit dem Auto, in erreichbarer Nähe. Die Gastgeber sind sehr nett, freundlich und hilfsbereit, wenn mal was gebraucht wird. Die hauseigene Dokumentation ist hilfreich, gut sortiert und lässt nichts offen. Das Umfeld bietet weitere unzählige Wandermöglichkeiten und lädt förmlich dazu ein. Wir waren sehr zufrieden und haben unsere Auszeit in der Eselstube genossen."

"Excellent, comfortable house with everything you could need, including a mobile bakery stopping outside the house twice a week. We enjoyed meals on the patio in the spacious garden and lovely view. The host was extremely friendly and helpful throughout our stay, helping us to arrange a vet visit for our dog. Set in a beautiful location, within 40mins of many attractions to visit, it was just what we were hoping for. My family and dog found it super for exploring the eifel national park with endless hiking, cycling and horse riding trails nearby including many on our doorstep. Everywhere we went we found people very friendly, helpful and dog friendly, allowing our dog into cafes, restaurants and satzvey castle. The range of German cakes and hot chocolates were delicious! We enjoyed a fabulous holiday and hope to return."

"We used Schleiden as a home base when visiting various parts of North Rhine Westphalia, where I used to live. The house was well-appointed, with the kitchen in very good order and very comfortable beds. The village was nice and quiet, with a larger town for shopping essentials nearby."
