「We picked this location because it was close to several good hiking locations. It’s a little on the pricier side, but I imagine that’s why. No complaints from my party. The kitchen was well stocked and we enjoyed the neighbor’s dog. It’s right in the highway so one may have an issue with road noise. We were so tired from our hikes, we slept soundly both nights we stayed.」

「This is a lovely old house. It’s clean, well equipped and has a really human well cared for feel. No weird cleaning chemicals which was really nice. We felt really welcome.It’s easy to get to lots of beaches and beautiful forest walks.We had a good time」

「My brother & wife have been coming to visit me in Brookings OR for several years and we enjoy hiking in Jedediah Smith Redwoods Park and seeing the groves there but this year we decided to travel further south to see The Avenue of the Giants. 「We had to stay in the Arcadia area for several days and were excited to book this rental. It provide and excellent and very quiet place to stay along the northern coast of California, with a spectacular view of the mad river and the ocean. The house is well stocked with everything a renter would need for cooking, vacationing, sleeping, etc. And it is pleasantly comfortable as well. 「Great location and clean property. These are the tiny houses near a riverside, the views and beauty is serene. Owner was responsive, however, we needed extra bedding but didn’t get them for the night. Turns out I did not use an after hours line, so you want to be careful when you call. Some basic supplies like coffee, sugar, oil in the house would have been nice. There’s no grocery near by.」

「Cute little property down a rural drive, with ample parking and friendly neighbors. The house had everything we needed to cook meals, and the cookware was high quality. The veiw of the river is beautiful, and in the mornings we got to watch otter playing. The hot tub was great after being out and about all day, and enjoying dinner on the deck. Loved the large windows in the house, The host was very responsive. We had a great time.」
