Bad plumbing issues

Four of our 7 days were plagued with serious health issue related to clogged plumbing. All sinks and toilets backed up and things finally were corrected on the 5th day of our stay but unfortunately 8 of 10 of our guests developed 24 hour stomach bug issues due to the sanitary issues. The house keeper living quarters completely flooded with all the backup from the house. We felt very badly for her. We checked with neighbors and they were not experiencing the same issues. Once the owner pumped the septic on Wednesday things were back to normal. The island was beautiful and we still managed to have a good time but we can’t say the vacation was stress free unfortunately.

BEWARE-Looks High End In Pictures Only.

Pros: Davide the owner is quick to respond.Easy check-in. Houskeeper, Lucero was helpful and honest.Nothing stolen from guests.Gates home in quiet and safe area. Walking distance to Rui and Riu Palace (5-10mins).$8 USD taxi ride to resorts, shopping, dining, etc.In-ground pool. Con: Davide the owner will blame guests for any issues brought to his attention during their stay.Air conditioners leaked frequently and not addressed for day.We were constantly placing containers under them to catch the leaks. When 1 stopped leaking another started. Davide blamed us and said we were leaving windows open, which was not the case as no one wanted to be hot and stuffy in the rental.Natives said it was because the air conditioners needed to be cleaned out. Dirty and worn cushions for lawn furniture no one wanted to sit on during our stay.Low water pressure.Toilet seats where not secure in mutliple bathrooms.Huge crack in patio slider from livingroom to the pool that Davide had placed a plant in front of and cautioned us to be careful during our stay.Despite arranging with Davide the morning of, no one met us at check out but luckily the pool guy was there and said he would lock up after us. Not sure what he does with his $ as his Italian restaurant Gianni's, has a line for seating every nite. Natives told us the whole back roof of the restaurant is caving in. Bathroom windows and fans did not work. No salt or pepper - told to buy some. Paper towels and toilet tissue not replished as needed

Had an amazing time. The host communicated very well. The property manager was very prompt. The home is beautiful. The water didn’t get as hot but I do love steaming water. So that was nothing major. Overall, I would definitely recommend.

We had an amazing time at our stay here! Six couples came together from four different states and a wonderful time. The house is just like it is in the pictures.

Me and my crew loved this property. The owner David was always in touch even before arrival..The checkin process was very easy..The house was clean and exceeded our expectations..The property manager Alfredo and the housekeeper Blanco were always available for questions and concerns..We loved the size of the pool and how beautiful it was at night. We walked to the beach and there was a very nice supermarket not to far. It was eleven adults and we had plenty room. I would definitely recommend this property....Thank you David

Unforgettable family vacation with incredible lasting memories on One Happy Island!

"You can shake the sand from your shoes, but it never leaves your soul." We cannot thank Davide, Alfredo, and Blanca enough for the most fabulous stay at Maison Blanche! Our entire family of 10; my parents who were celebrating 40 years of wedded bliss, my husband and our two children, and my sister's family and their two children had plenty of space, relaxation, and absolute fun at Maison Blanche. We were greeted at the airport by the wonderful Alfredo, who took us to the house; at Maison Blanche, we were then welcomed by the owner, Davide (picture an Italian version of Bradley Cooper) who was all smiles and answered all of our questions; what a fantastic way to begin! Blanca stopped in to say "hello" with a big smile; she was the sweetest, and kept the home sparkling clean and replenished all week long; at the end of the week, Blanca felt like family; hugs all around! The home itself is about a 5 minute drive from the local Super Foods market, 6 minute drive to the beach, and only a 15-20 minute drive to De Palm Island and the airport. There are 3 master bedrooms (1 on 2nd floor and 2 on main floor) and 3 additional bedrooms on the 2nd floor. The outdoor pool and deck are incredible and where our family spent most of our time; the spa is not a hot tub, but has fun jets (kids loved!); and the lights come on at night for an evening dip! The kitchen and dining area has everything we needed; the only downfall was the oven was not operable; but they did indicate it was going to be fixed. We ordered pizzas one night and we went out a couple nights. The owner provides you with a 10% discount card for 5 area restaurants. We took a day trip to De Palm Island (snorkeling and all-inclusive food/drink), we did some shopping, and loved the Philip's Animal Garden! One evening, we enjoyed an at-home Italian dinner by Chef Fabrizio and his sous chef; what a treat! The Maison Blanche provides a 10 passenger van for the week; worked perfectly for what we needed to get around. Our last night on the island, we had family photos taken at sunset by One Happy Photographer on Palm Beach; also a very good experience and captured moments with the children! The week was full of beach days, pool days, day trips, love and much laughter! Thanks a million, for the most wonderful stay at Maison Blanche, Davide, Blanca, and Alfredo! We will most definitely never forget our stay at your home nor our vacation to beautiful Aruba! Maison Blanche won't disappoint! Enjoy your stay!

Fantastic

Property was very nice. Further walk to the beach then we would have liked but it’ was so great to have the pool and the ability to just hang outside on the patio away from everything if we wanted. Everything was great. Blanka was fantastic and was there everyday making sure the house and we were well taken care of. Overall a great vacation and a great location.

Girls Trip!

The property was beautiful and the owner was very friendly and very accessible via HomeAway messengsr. Although the description states that local beaches and other attractions are minutes away, it will be necessary that you rent a car or get a taxi to get around. This property boasts an amazing outdoor area with a pool and hot tub. However, we were unable to use the pool because of huge flying ants. We also didn't have access to the washing machine, which would have been nice especially coming from the beach. The main downside of this property is that if you go over the amount allowed for water and power usage you will be billed for damages. I'm aware that water and power are expensive in Aruba but the amount of usage was set at a ridiculously low amount that with a party of 10 women it was impossible to stay within.

We stayed at Maison Blanche for a bachelorette party. There were 10 girls in one house, so you can imagine the stress! Davide was so helpful. He has a house manager and maid; he helped organize a private dinner in the house for us, had the fridge stocked with the groceries we requested so we could skip the grocery store upon arrival and was overall pretty accommodating! We appreciate the hospitality Davide and had a wonderful trip to Aruba! :)

ABSOLUTELY GORGEOUS!!!

From the time we walked in we were in awe! The house is beautiful and very well kept. Davide was extremely helpful throughout the entire process. All of the dishes that Chef Fabrizio prepared were SO delicious... the housekeeper is a sweetheart and she kept the house immaculate and even washed our clothes for us... we were truly spoiled during our entire stay. The house is in a great location in relation to shopping, the grocery store, and beaches. This was our first trip to Aruba and when we return, Maison Blanche will definitely be our top choice for accommodations.

Great location and experience

A group of friends (8 total) stayed this March. We absolutely loved the house! It's very modern and pristine. Great for groups of couples who all want their own space and private baths. The location is also wonderful, extremely close to downtown and Superfoods. Superfoods is a grocery store we were all weirdly obsessed with! The girls all wished there was one like it in the states. Bianca the housekeeper was extremely gracious and sweet. Davide also helped us rent a van to fit our large group. It was extremely convenient to have a means of transportation waiting for us at the house when we arrived. Also special thanks to Davide for promptly and patiently answering all our questions.

Beautiful, comfortable, excellent location, homey, artsy, family friendly, meticulous and appealing

There is no better place than Maison Blanche to have spent as a first girls trip to Aruba. The home is superior in architecture, aesthetically appealing to the eye and this holds true for the exterior as well as the interior of the home. Maison Blanche is simply beautiful and has all the amenities you can imagine to make ones stay outstanding. Davide our host made sure that we were comfortable. He was personable and thorough in his assistance. He business partner Alfredo showed politeness and was gracious. Bianca the onsite help (whom resides in adjacent quarters to MB) is such a pleasant lady. She was meticulous in her attention to the maintenance of the home and tended to it with a smile. Maison Blanche's location gets two thumbs up. We toured the entire Island and returned back to the residence with ease. The home is local to various restaurants and touristy areas. Superfoods is a large market that host a pharmacy, smoothie shop and has the shelves stocked with familiar items and brands that we purchase here in the states daily. Many of the prices were comparable.  Any questions or concerns that were expressed Davide readily addressed and he did so in a timely manner. We could tell that he genuinely wanted us to have an amazing time, and we did. We have a plethora of fine memories to reflect on until we return to the happy island...We intend to make Maison Blanche our official go to place on future trips to the wondrous Island of Aruba.

Absolutely Amazing!

My husband, our six friends and myself truly enjoyed this beautiful home. The owner is beyond personable, professional and wanted nothing but perfection for us. Over two weeks later we all are still talking about the memories that were created in the kitchen while the chef prepared our meals and the tons of laughs in the pool. We all can’t wait to enjoy this property again.

Beautiful property, great location, wonderful service!

Maisson Blanche is a lovely property, close to the beach and great restaurants! It is a very spacious home and has great amenities! The housekeeper did a fabulous job and is very friendly! I highly recommend this place!

Amazing time at Maison Blanche

7 women came to Aruba to celebrate my 50th birthday. Davide and Blanca made the trip one for the books. We had nothing to worry about--communication was easy with Davide--he responded promptly to my questions and requests. He went out of his way to make us feel welcome and comfortable. He took care of our car rental and even pre-ordered pizza for us upon arrival. Blanca kept the house clean and did our laundry daily. I couldn't have asked for a better location or staff. Wonderful trip, wonderful place to stay. Highly recommend Maison Blanche.

Absolutely amazing!

This was absolutely amazing! The owner was helpful from booking to checkout. Davide was always readily available to help with anything I needed...whether it was calling a taxi or making reservations. The housekeeper was excellent and helpful. The pool was beautiful! There were 5 couples and we had plenty of space. Thank you Davide for making my friends' first time in Aruba amazing. Definitely would go back and recommend.

Amazing Aruba

Davide is a great host and and always available to answer all your questions. The pictures are exactly as the house is, stunning and beautiful. Blanka, who handles the daily cleaning of home was always available with a smile on her face. Should we have any questions, phone translator worked great for the language barrier. The pool was a perfect size for all of us to hang and the backyard had a resort feel to it. We had 12 adults in the home and everyone was comfortable. The home was so spacious you never felt cramped. Some of us of walked to the high rise while others took a vehicle. It was not a long walk at all, but my husband and I enjoy walking. We had a dinner catered one night by one of Davide's restaurant which was delivered by his partner Anthony (who was also very gracious) This is such a great idea with such a large party and very reasonably priced. You can't go wrong here. Aruba is a beautiful place as is all the people on the island. Thank you Davide for being such a great host. Hope to see you again soon.

We booked this vacation in conjunction with our daughter's 25th birthday. It was 13 adults and plenty of room. Before even renting this home I had the pleasure of hearing from the owner of this beautiful villa, Mr. Davide Bugatti! Wow he went above and beyond for my family, He told us everything we needed to know about grocery stores, rental car agencis and anything else we needed to know prior to our visit. He met us at the home the day we arrived and we were all stunned on how beautiful this home was! It was modern, stylish and very clean. It was so much room in each bedroom and the bathrooms are just gorgeous. The kitchen was great, we cooked out on he grill while swimming in the wonderful pool and whirpool/hot tube. It was enough seating for everyone, enough space to even be alone when you needed to be. We also loved Blanka, who comes to everyday to clean the home. She did such a wonderful job and she was so, so nice to everyone and the house looked great when we returned from our outings. This home is situated perfectly to get to all the popular beaches, like Eagle and Palm beach. Close to high rise area, shopping and fun nights and downtown shopping (which is cheaper). We decided to rent a car and my husband drove us everywhere. He learned the area so fast and was quickly driving like he was a regular! We also went to Flying Fishbone for dinner and it was simply marvelous, you acutally dine in the water (ankle deep). So much to do but we loved and enjoyed just staying at the house playing games, grilling out and swimming as well. It was a well balanced 7 days. Please if you want a great and beautiful home for your vacation this is it.....look no further! Contact Mr. Bugatti for any of your questions and he will answer them! Excellent property & experience! Highly recommended!

Hi. We wanted to do a family get-together in Aruba to celebrate my dad's 80th birthday. We were 11 people and were looking for a accommodation that allow us a more intimate, family-prone experience that a resort will not provide for a large group of guests. We liked what we saw on the web about Maison Blanche, and were very pleased to noticed that it was way better than the pictures show. It's a very spacious, clean and sleek modern style house with everything any family may need. Even some of the entourage didn't want to go out to the beach but to stay in the house and spent their precious time in Aruba there in the house!. The house is in a very quiet and safe neighborhood, Palm Beach is within walking distance (about 20 min), however I'd recommend renting a car to go to any other beach in the island. Groceries (Superfoods) is nearby. Wifi in the house is top-notch, A/C everywhere. Linens and towels provided. Tap water in Aruba is drinking water (3rd safest in the world). For your stay, you only need to purchase groceries and that's it!. Blanca is a very competent and nice lady that helped us with everything we needed. Davide was very warm and welcoming, and equally helpful in everything we might need. For a next trip to Aruba with a large (7+) entourage with no doubt I'd rent this property again. Thanks!

Beautiful, clean and spacious villa! Comfort of home with feel of boutique hotel!

We just returned from an amazing vacation in Aruba, spending 7 days at Villa Maison Blanche. It is exactly as seen in the pictures: beautiful, modern, and most importantly, clean. We were 13 people (8 adults, 5 children under 5) and there was more than enough space for all. We used the non chlorinated pool everyday, and lounged in both the sun and shade (there’s plenty of both). Bedrooms are spacious; beds were comfortable. Large walk-in closets in every room. Bathrooms are luxurious. We felt like we were staying in a boutique hotel. AC units in every room (including kitchen and all living room spaces) with fan function too. Davide (the owner) was accommodating before we even arrived, helping us with car rentals, and found us a pack n’ play for one of the children to sleep in (we did bring our own fitted sheet). Upon arrival, he met us at a food store nearby (Super Foods), and showed us how to get to the house. He showed us around the house, how to work the security system, and chatted with my parents for a bit. He is very friendly and approachable, although our contact with him during our stay was limited (which was fine with us). We did have problems with Wi-Fi working on the day we arrived, but after informing Davide, he had someone come to the house the next morning to fix it, and there were no problems after that. One evening the BBQ ran out of gas, we informed Blanca (the maid) who then called Davide and we had a new tank and BBQ working in less then half an hour, all done with a smile and lots of apologies. Blanca, the maid, came everyday but Sunday (her day off). She made the beds, cleaned dishes, swept and mopped the floors… she was great! She does not speak English, but this wasn’t really an issue. There was also someone there every morning to clean the pool… again, he might have been off on Sunday, I don’t remember. Both very discreet and pleasant. The house is wonderfully located near the big hotels, restaurants, and shops. Arashi beach is about 7 minutes away, and just gorgeous. We bought groceries everyday at the Super Foods 5 minutes away. They had everything we needed there. No one wanted to leave. I’ve never been to an island with such wonderful weather (sunny skies and 30 degree weather, with nice breeze everyday), welcoming people, and felt comfortable driving around ourselves. We felt safe. We have already starting planning our vacation for next year, and plan on returning to Villa Maison Blanche!
