Nice hotel in a great area. Rooms are clean and functional and hotel located along a scenic canal/river. Shops close-by and within 15minute walk to Feng Chia Night Market. Check-in/out easy with helpful staff to help.

Hotel is showing its age. I don’t know why but the housekeeper came in cleaned, took my garbage and whipped it into the corner of the room and left it there. I came back and was shocked lol. Other than that the wallpapers coming off. Window areas aren’t cleaned properly. It’s alright if you need a place to sleep.

The small tub on the balcony was a lifesaver in Taichung het. We had a little friendly lizard, but also an unexpected cockroach guest who lives under the boards on the balcony. The shower didn’t properly drain, and the room connecting the balcony to the bathroom wasn’t sealed, meaning we could hear street noise starting at 6 am, as well as feel the heat outside, making the a.c. Less effective. The mattress was also rather firm, even as someone who sleeps on a firm mattress, making sleep somewhat difficult. Location is good. Easy walk to and from the station and to nearby food and attractions. Snack and tea bar in the afternoons was a pleasant surprise.
