Absolutely take the museum tour when you visit the museum and gift shop!! There is an audio tour featuring Bud Cheff Jr. -- it's amazing. The museum collection is worth seeing alone, but the audio and the history and knowledge of Mr. Cheff is just incredible. Worth the money. Lots of great Montana stuff for sale in the gift shop. A must stop for travelers, local or not.
