The hotel is comfortable and clean but a little dated. The staff is friendly and capable. Road noise with windows open is a bit of an issue (but many European hotels at this level are not air conditioned, so this is not a huge problem). It’s very close to the University. I would definitely stay there again.

A smooth and peaceful experience

I appreciated the late night check-in option, which worked very smoothly, despite the property officially claiming not to offer after-hours check in. The internet connection worked well, besides a few short interruptions, and was secured with a password, which is a plus these days when many hotels offer open, unsecured connections only. The room was in a good condition and offered the basic amenities needed for a shorter stay. The location is particularly suitable for visiting the university, may be slightly less so for visits to the Nijmegen city centre, although there is a bus stop nearby. Overall, I recommend the hotel as value for its price.

Cher pour le service. Pas d'effet wahou

L'hotel était bien et propre, mais en revanche un peu cher pour le service. Petit-déjeuner avec une machine offrant du latte mais dont le lait ne fonctionnait pas. Dîner vraiment très cher (même si c'était bon). Bref pas de grosse déception mais assez éloigné de l'effet wahou. Bien pour une étape en famille.

A nice hotel with a family run feel. All staff were helpful and happy to assist. Not sure about two single beds but not a deal breaker. Loved the big bath. Overall all good will return again.

Ok for short stay

Few kilometers out from Nijmegen center, but with car it is ok. Old small house with worn interior. All rooms in upstairs, with very steep stairs, so with bad legs/knees it can be hard. All sounds from others rooms can be heart easily. But all this is ok for short time, any way there is ok bed and ok toilet and shower. The staff was very polite and nice. Breakfast was 12,50€, that is totally too much for cereals, juice, apple, dry bread and coffee from the automat. No vegetables (salad tomatoes..) or variety of fruits, or variety of anything.

Ruime kamer op de hoek/ voorkant van het hotel. Heerlijk ontbijtbuffet. Afsluitbare fietsenstalling was ideaal! Al met al een heerlijk verblijf gehad hier!

Luidruchtig en gedateerd. Bedden waren 5 jaar geleden al aan vervanging toe. We hadden erg veel last van de drukke weg en van dronken jongeren die om 3 uur s nachts het hele hotel opschudde voor een lange periode. Geen toezicht… niets. Oftewel slecht bed in combi met veel geluidsoverlast… geen fijne ervaring

Was keurig schoon en de staat van de kamer is netjes en goed onderhouden. De douch is goed en schoon. Ontbijt is lekker en veelzijdig. Iets meer shampoo in de badkamer was wel gewenst. Zeker een aanrader want het restaurant is heerlijk.

Perfect familie-hotel voor tussenstop tijdens auto- of fietstocht. Kamers waren netjes en confortabel. En het restaurant en het grote buitenterras maakten het aangenaam om te verpozen. Ook mogelijkheid om fietsen droog en veilig te stallen. Ontbijt was prima. Goede price/value, en aardige mensen!

klein & fijn

Heel erg prettig verblijf gehad. Mooie locatie aan de rand van Nijmegen. Prachtig gebouw met de sfeer van historie en alle gemakken van modern. Het was erg heet toen ik hier verbleef, maar de ventilator bij het bed maakte het comfortabel genoeg om te slapen. En het was een klein hotel, dus de staf had tijd voor persoonlijke attenties; zo kwam ik bijvoorbeeld al rond 11u ‘s ochtends aan, dus toen vroeg de gastvrouw de schoonmaakster mijn kamer gelijk even schoon te maken zodat ik meteen mijn kamer in kon. Echt een aanrader!
