Wonderful Place to Stay

The house was cozy, clean and had a ton of charm. The location was great, close to the ski resort and to gem stone mining. The house was well stocked and had many fun activities to do during our down time. We would stay here again.

Wonderful Christmas week

My family and I had a fantastic ski vacation in Sunday River staying at this beautifully appointed farmhouse. The location was so close to the mountain and there was so much space for everyone. Game room and hot tub were fabulous for our 2 families with 4 teenagers. Highly recommend!

Sunday River Ski Vacation

We had a wonderful week stay at the Farm House! This was our second time staying here & once again it did not disappoint. The house was clean, well stocked & comfortable. Also the location can’t be beat for a week of skiing at Sunday River! We would absolutely stay here again!

Best Ski House

The house was perfect. All the beds were extremely comfortable. The living areas were great for our group. Hot tub and game room really made it a fun stay! Definitely renting again!!

The Beautiful Farmhouse

Located close to Sunday River this beautifully decorated house is a gem! Nicely furnished, comfortable beds and beautiful linens. Well equipped kitchen and fun game room. Great hot tub and fire pit in the spacious back yard. This house is perfect for families vacationing together.

Better than the photos!

From the time we booked to the time we stayed, they updated some of the furniture and it was for the better! The beds were comfy. We had room to spread out. The place was stocked with a lot of what you need. Proximity to Sunday River is amazing too :)

Wonderful house for a family

My family so enjoyed our stay at this house. The bedrooms were comfortable, and the extra space over the game room was perfect for the family with children. It is separated from the rest of the living space so naps weren't interrupted. The game room was a lot of fun for our granddaughter, and we use the hot tub every night but one. We totally enjoyed our vacation at this lovely home which was full of character.

A Getaway To Remember!

What a beautiful farmhouse with all the old charm but modern features and conveniences. It was just as the pictures showed and very accurate to the description. It had a great layout and plenty of space for the 6 of us. More than enough. We had lots of space. We were able to cook our Thanksgiving meal and enjoy a few quiet days away. We had our 2 dogs with us which meant so much to us. The hot tub is just steps away on the deck from the back door. That was a real treat. My teenagers enjoyed the game room a lot. We were able to have a few logs in the fireplace which was also wonderful. Highly recommended and definitely give it 5 stars. Great communication with the host and everything went great for our stay. They were very accommodating and the home had everything you can think of for a wonderful stay. We didn’t ski but what a great spot to stay at while going to Sunday River. So close to the mountain, town and local restaurants too. A beautiful famous covered bridge is just a mile down the road. Definitely a great home to enjoy your getaway!!

Exceptional property

We loved this classic farmhouse, including the charming quirks that come with a 100+ year old house. Creaking wide pine floors and original kitchen cupboards might not be everyone’s cup of tea, but it made us so very comfortable; like being at your great-grandparent’s. All systems; heat, hot water, water pressure, WiFi, etc; have been updated and were more than adequate for our group of seven. Comfortable beds, luxurious linens, pool towels for the hot tub. Lots of toilet paper, but be aware that there’s little other paper products (no tissues, plates/cups/napkins or bath cups, two rolls of cheapest paper towels which got used up super quickly). Ice maker/dispenser was completely frozen up and appeared to have been that way for awhile; we bought bags of ice nearby (we did not ask for a repair of this, but notified them at checkout). We had several occasions to contact and the response was immediate and exceptional. Coffee maker didn’t work and they brought us another one, and a shower control froze open and they had a plumber there within an hour on a Sunday. Awesome hot tub, game room, views in every direction. Just delightful!

Great property, close to all the activities we wanted to do as well as the town for provisions. Beds were comfortable, pool and hot tub were clean and well maintained. We loved coffee on the deck and s’mores by the fire pit. The kids loved the game room. Texting with the management company was easy and they were very responsive. Would definitely stay again!

This is a very quiet location which was exactly what we were looking for. The house had everything we needed for our stay and was very clean. We had plenty of space for our whole family. Communication with the owner was great. I would strongly recommend this property

Wonderful property to stay with the family!

We enjoyed our stay very much, the property was quaint and cozy with a fun game room and we were able to bring our pup along as well! The house was a few minutes from the slopes and other amenities which was very convenient. We loved using the hot tub which was great after a long day on the mountain! The house was clean and the owners had a nice welcoming basket and binder, as well as digital guide book with any info we needed. We would definitely stay again!

Clean and comfortable

Excellent house in Bethel for a family trip! The house was very clean and the beds were very comfortable. Our kids loved the game room. Everything is provided for you except tinfoil and plastic wrap. The hot tub was a big hit. The outdoor space was great. TV is easy to use. ACs in every bedroom. Check in/out was easy. The house is on a somewhat busy road, so I guess if you have a dog that runs you’d want to be careful (we don’t have a dog—just info for those who do). Wish they had pans that were not non-stick, as we don’t use them for health reasons. Otherwise, an exceptional experience had by all. We’d definitely rent again!

We had an excellent stay at the Farm House. It's proximity to Sunday River and the fall fest events was a welcome surprise. The property was perfect for our group of friends to hang out for the long weekend, with on-site activities and a responsive host who dropped off extra firewood for us.

Beautiful Sunday River rental with history

Our two families enjoyed renting this impeccably clean and beautifully decorated rental house for Thanksgiving. The husbands and kids got in 2 days skiing at Sunday River and this close location can't be beat. The kitchen had all the amenities we needed to cook, and we enjoyed the historic charm of this old home. Finally, the game room was a big hit with everyone, and the spacious yard with swingset, fire pit and hot tub meant we didn't need to go out for entertainment. Highly recommend!
