"The hotel was off the beaten path, not in a major city, but it met all of our expectations. The staff were helpful and cared for all of our requests. Jay and his family (I assume) treated us like we were family. The room was clean and the breakfast was satisfying. We had a very enjoyable stay."

8/10 Good
"We had the basic room, #15. The check-in process via email was easy. Upon entering the room we observed there was no seating other than sitting on the beds. There were no night stands or tables so we used the refrigerator as our table. In our opinion there was ample room for a couple folding chairs and side table/night stand. The bed was comfortable and the shower had good pressure. In the middle of our second night, we woke to a scratching noise. We determined a mouse had entered the room and was eating in a bait station behind the refrigerator. We immediately removed our belongings off of the floor. This is where a luggage stand would be appreciated. The next morning we contacted the host with our problem and he immediately started working on a solution. Within a couple hours we were moved to another cabin on the property. We didn't have any issues the last two nights of our stay. Overall, minus the one issue, we had a good stay. Great location, close to numerous attractions."
