Small and smelly. Aside from the high cost per night. When you enter the hotel it reeks of pungent perfume that they purposefully pump into the tight lobby. It burns your eyes and almost everyone entering comments on it. The lobby stench is a terrible marketing move and is one of the worst scents you can imagine entering a hotel. I abhor this new perfume the lobby trend in hotels. There are three elevators for 40 floors and a line to get off and on. The rooms are cute but frustratingly small. You can’t get coffee until the coffee bar is open. It’s not complimentary, and if you have a business before 7, forget about getting some. We thought this would be a short safe walk to the convention center. It’s not. You’ll be harassed by hobos and peddlers the entire way right outside the door. You’ll have to get a cab or Uber, but don’t order it in front of the hotel. Walk to the end of the block to get it to shave off 10 minutes from the Uber getting to the salon hotel due to street congestion. Also there is a club at the top and the hotel is very noisy. This was a disappointing overpriced mistake. We won’t be coming back.
