This is a great and historic property with high ceilings and beautiful rooms. It’s a bit of a walk to the French Quarter, but it’s much less crowded . The street can get loud at night with people blaring music into the wee hours so bring earplugs and you’ll be fine!

I was placed in a room right near the street. There was loud noice all night long. Also there were steps outside my room and homeless people stayed there all night talking and cussing. I was move to another room the next day that was smaller and I had to walk up 3 flights of stairs.. no elevator. Go figure.

We liked the area. Everything was within walking distance and a secured parking area. Only thing the hotel needs is vending machines. Also, it would have been nice to have a microwave and small refrigerator.

Good parking off street, nice bed. Staff did not indicate how to use room key fob or that coffee and pastry was available in the morning or ice water all day. Only one chair to sit on in room for two, and no chest to store clothes. Very noisy, first with mechanical beeping then later by very loud party ? until 4am, despite quiet hour signs.

This property is extremely basic. There is no mini frige or microwave in unit. There is no vending machines so there is no option for bringing food back or getting a snack. The pool is not useable. It's dark and looks dirty. There is a bar area pictured but no beverages. In the morning, there is coffee in the "lounge area" and a small tray of pastries. During my week stay there was no creamer or milk for the coffee. We had to change rooms upon arrival due to no overhead light. In our new room the water took 15 minutes to get warm. Also, there is no elevator so you could get a room on 2nd or 3rd floor walk up.

The staff was great and they hold your room key for you while you are out exploring the area. The building is secure and requires you to buzz in to enter the building. It was clean and very nice property. It was advised to not walk at night around that area, but we did during the week with no issues and on the busier weekend, we took an uber/lyft right to the door. There was no time that we didn't feel safe staying at this property and would book again in the future!

Wi-Fi is poor cutting out every 5 seconds. No dresser for clothes. Had to run to the shower 5 minutes to get hot water. Closet was 12 inch deep not 24 like standard depth, No room for a suite case. The cable boxes keep erroring out. Asked to have released they refused to replace it.

The picture does not correspond to the actual hotel. Room very uncomfortable lacking even a table and chair. Water leaked from roof during a storm. Employees not very nice.

Checkin was just ok. The desk clerk did on give clear directions on how to get to our room and directions to the secured parking lot were very vague. In the room it took over 5 minutes to get hot water in the shower. The water pressure in the shower was just a trickle. Disappointed

This was our 2nd stay at the Courtyard and it was just as good as the first. It is walkable to the Quarter, yet far enough outside to be quiet. It's a lovely property, and very clean, with a charming staff.

Old renovated building. Rooms are small but clean and adequate. However, street noise was a real issue. Plus there was a large group saying in the hotel who were shouting, banging doors, and blaring music well past midnight and the hotel staff did nothing to quieten them down. We were awoken several times during the night.

Went for Mardi Gras. didn't know what to expect because prices everywhere were so high and this one was the most reasonable. Rooms and service were clean and felt very safe. Staff was exceptional. Would come back again. About 15 min. walk from Bourbon Street and Main Square.

Room was spacious and clean, loved the charming little courtyard (stayed on the first floor). Staff was very friendly and helpful! Within walking distance to the French Quarter. No fridge or microwave but we planned our meals to not have leftovers so it wasn’t a huge deal. Front door is kept locked (you have to ring a buzzer for the front desk to let you in) which did make me feel safer.

As soon as I walked outside the hotel to my right was someone posted up selling drugs. The hotel is nice inside the lobby. My guest and I felt the room lacked decor and felt cold. There was only one sink with no counter and no other mirrors in the room. That was fun for two ladies trying to get ready every day . Front desk staff was not very friendly and questioned us about actually being guest when we had already been there for two nights. We won’t select these accommodations when returning to New Orleans.

If you like to be away from the hustle & bustle, this place is great! It’s about a 15 min walk to Bourbon St & 20 min to Canal. Some good places to eat within 5-10 min walk. Hotel staff were friendly, clean rooms and spacious too!

We travel to New Orleans about five times a year and this will be our go to hotel moving forward. Amazing staff, clean property with gated parking, and within walking distance to the Quarter and Frenchman. The staff are amazing and so friendly!

It is a unique property and had a great feel. Parking is available for a fee (I believe it was $50 per night) but we were able to find a spot on the street for free. I would definitely stay here again. It was about 1.5 mile walk to the superdome which was a bit longer than we anticipated but not a problem. I would definitely stay here again, particularly if parking was not an issue.

I did not like the GF facility! The property was in a building without a sign ( it didn't look as if it was open . It had 22 steps, no elevator,no amenities at all, small bathroom, my husband didn't fit and couldn't shower, one bed, two end tables and a t.v. Nowhere to sit nor store clothes. It didn't feel like a relaxing vacation spit. We had to check out on the first night and go ind alternative lodging.
